PROS: Fit, comfort and style is GREAT! The dial is the easiest and most custom-fit lacing system I have found on a kids shoe. The dial hasn’t broken and (unlike Velcro closures which can be too long for kids with smaller feet) the kids can get the shoe quickly fitted to their comfort preference without a long piece of dangling Velcro strap. I would definitely be ordering more of these if the inventory was available in their sizes. MORE PROS: The shoe is also light, breathable, cosmetically resilient to stain, and has a white sole which is preferred for use on certain sports courts. (Tough to find a good shoe without a black sole) CONS: Sometimes kids at school would want to play with the dial, and this would annoy our kids. Also, as in the attached photo, durability is a question for me. The shoe on the left was worn by my more athletic child and completely fell apart after 6 weeks of use; the shoe on the right was worn by my less active child and is still OK but showing early stage wear at the toe. I would buy this again for a less active child.

A great shoe! Looks so cool but also amazing as no ties yet you are able to get this shoe tighter then a Velcro close.

My kids LOVE these shoes - they’re super comfy (once they’re broken in), they have a cool closure feature, and they’re very easy to get on and off. HOWEVER, I do not love these shoes - they’re pretty expensive and both of my boys have gone through 2 pairs each before outgrowing them. Not buying these again, they’re a money pit. Attaching pictures of my 8 yr olds shoes that we bought 6 months ago. We didn’t have his first pair that long, as the cool closure feature broke which made it impossible to tighten the shoes to stay on his feet. My kids do a pretty good amount of outdoor play on rocks and gravel, so maybe these would hold up longer if they were only playing on playgrounds and grass - just not great for high desert/mountain living. I had higher hopes.

I love this sneakers! My son is 4 yrs old and we haven't done tying shoes yet. I love how they aren't velcro! He constantly gets complements on his cool shoes!

The heel was too wide for my son. His heel slipped out. Had to return. My kid has a wide foot too.

My 7 year old son is autistic and these are amazing! He has wide feet and is currently learning to tie his own shoes but is struggling. These are SUPER easy for him to put on himself and he can tighten them to exactly the way he wants them to feel on his feet. Amazing!

The size and fit were perfect for my son who has wide chubby feet. He absolutely loves these sneakers but hasn’t used them yet outside of the house. He’s saving them for school to start. He isn’t hard on his sneakers so I expect them to last.

Active children? Best kid shoe we’ve found so far. Buy two pairs.

This is my grandson’s second pair and he absolutely loves the fit but the best feature is the unique “tieing” method!

They were initially tough to get on, but after wearing them all day he was able to break them in. He likes tightening and loosening them. We got them in wide and a half size up and they are perfect for my 6 year old.

My kids love these shoes. Both my 4&6 year old can put them on themselves without any help, they are comfortable and look cute.

My 6 year old loves these and so do I. They are easy for him to put on and take off and he says they are comfortable!

My son loves these! They are easy to slip on and off which makes it a win-win when we are on the go! I would not hesitate to order these and give them a try!

I was excited to try these for my almost 4 year old who has made it very known he wants to dress himself! But he struggled with his shoes as he doesn’t know how to tie his laces yet, and the tongue on his velcro pair always got shoved down when he tried to get them on. I can not say enough about these! They are perfect for your independent child, easy to get on, tighten, and loosen to take off. We’ve had them for a week and they’ve already been submerged in a giant middle puddle and are still functional... I’ll update my review after a few more weeks of wear and tear, as I have some reservations if they’ll hold up to all the conditions my little guy may take them through.

The boy loves these. They open by pulling the button out and then to tighten push button closed and wind it to comfort. Like a snow ski boot waaaaaayyyy cooler then Velcro for kids who aren’t yet tying their shoes or are but forever untied. Now the bigger boy wants them also.

Bought these for my grandson and he LOVED them! He was very pleased with the knob turn that tightens the laces. Within an hour of him putting them on the shoes were dirty from him running around and playing outside. Very happy with these shoes and the knob feature—kids will love them :)

My 6 yr old son really wanted to match some friends at school with these cool shoes. But he has a really high arch and we couldn't easily get them on, so we had to return and hence the ding on stars for comfort.
