Absolutely beautiful boots, with high quality materials. The top of the boot rubbed a bit on my legs. I think this problem would go away as the boots are broken in and the leather softens, but I needed a pair that don't require breaking in.

I love these boots! I have several pairs in my cart, but really liked this style the most. I couldnt find any reviews or photos online—I guess this is a true equestrian bootie, but I’m so glad I bought these. The leather is divine. The style is super cool. I haven’t worn them other than trying them on so I can’t comment on all-day comfort, but we’ll see.

Nice looking boot but a bit on the stiff side especially at the upper part of the boot where it hits your legs. I'm 67 years old and my legs are thin but very sensitive and I found this boot bothered my legs when I walked. The fit was true to size, but a think it was a bit narrow so if I wanted to wear a heavy pair of sock with this boot it may have felt too tight. It's a good looking boot style wise, though. But I did return these as I felt they just didn't work well for me. However, I do think others who's legs aren't as sensitive as mine will find these boots work just fine for them. Thank you, Zappos, for letting me return them without any return shipping charges.

First time wearing Ariat boots...gotta love them!!! My day started out wearing the Taos oxfords because my feet were sore from the Clark - Un Damson Tie from yesterday(need much breaking in)..buttttt, a delivery was made this morning...lol...needless to say, totally forgot about the oxfords, because the Ariat felt soooo comfortable straight out of the box, no breaking in...C-S-C - Cute, Stylish, and Comfortable....will definitely look into other Ariat styles...

I wear these almost every day, all day as my go-to in fall/winter/spring. I'm not a horsewoman, but these make great walking boots too. My first pair finally gave up after over 10 years. They're classic and never go out of style so who would know they were that old? I cleaned and polished them regularly. Took them to the cobbler annually. Anyway, these Kendron boots are fabulous; stiff but comfortable right out of the box. They are snug around the ankle, which works well for me and keeps my heal in place. True to size - I wear a nine medium with a pretty high arch and some bunion issues but no problems with these. I wore them around the house (with wool socks) for about a week and out for short trips after that. The first day I wore them to work I noticed a squeak in the shaft. Dang. Immediately was sent a replacement. Totally sold on Ariat boots and love the Kendron Pro.

Love these and fit nearly perfect! As others have said, they are a little tight at the ankle. For me, it wasn't so bad that I wouldn't take a chance on breaking them in. But listen up, Ariat--I think this is a flaw in the design. I was hoping the Ariat H2O would work because they are waterproof and I would like to use them in the snow. The Paddock is not waterproof nor does it have the snow tread. They are really cute. And comfortable.

I wanted these so badly, well made and beautiful styling but I have heavy legs and they were just a little too tight at the top. If they fit, the would be in my closet right now.

The fit is great. The boot is still a little stiff and pinches around my legs on the top of the shaft, but in time the leather will hopefully loosen and make the show a bit more comfortable to walk in.

I can’t ride in these because they are worse than breaking in a new pair of dress boots! They slice up the top of my feet the more I put my heels down! To Susan, Ariat does make a waterproof winter and summer paddock boot. You may have to visit some horse equipment shops or websites if Zappos doesn’t have them.

Good looking and fit well, but there was no padded cuff around top of ankle and wearing them became ?? painful I returned them!

Love the style of this boot. I had actually ordered a few different styles of boots with the intention of sending at least one of them back. Two of the boots were very comfortable and could be worn out of the box. This one, is made with a very stiff leather, is a bit snug and rubs on the ankle a little bit. But, I loved the cap-toe style so much I decided to keep it and try to slowly break them in. I would not have been able to wear these immediately for a long length of time or say wear them walking on my morning commute. But, they are very stylish and I am willing to work on breaking them in so I can have them for a long time.

The top of the boot is very narrow. My ankle is slim- 8.5 inches, and the top of the boot felt tight. The boot in general felt tight and a little pinchy; I would recommend a half or full size larger than you normally wear. Also, the zipper tabs are really loud. When you step, the metal tab hits the metal zipper and because there's two zippers, it's very clinky. If you're outside that's no problem, but I wear these boots to work so it's loud for an office. I wear the Scout paddock boots and they fit beautifully but have a dull finish. These boots have a lovely high shine and look superb. I would have kept them but between the noise and the pinch, I just couldn't. Foot bed support was excellent and they were nice to walk in.
