I am a nurse and wear these to work. The fit and support is great for long days on your feet, BUT I will not be purchasing another pair. This is the second pair that I have tried with the same problem. I thought maybe the first pair that frayed was just a fluke. I had a pair prior to these that lasted several years, but now see that it is an ongoing problem that Ryka has been informed of multiple times and continues to ignore. Take my advise and do not waste your money. Look elsewhere.

I only wore these for 1 summer, alternated with other shoes, the insole flattened and the sole came off. I waited quite awhile to buy these. I loved the look and style.now, I'm changing brands/.

Very bulky shoe! I've purchased Ryka's in the past, and I loved them! However, these were very disappointing and NOT cute.

I have been buying Ryka athletic shoes for many years. I have always been happy with the quality and longevity of Ryka athletic shoes. These however did not last, and did not have the great fit I was used to. I hope this is just a one time poor design.

This shoe has the right support - and comes up high enough to support my ankle. That's great. The flimsy plastic piece designed for the triangle part as others have said - BROKE - second wear. Ugh. now i'm looping the lace through the ribbon to keep wearing them. wonder how long that will last.... REALLY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

I bought these shoes for my zumba class, which I go to twice a week. After only a few weeks, there were tears along seams on the outside of the shoe and one of the plastic pieces that the shoelaces go through, that is supposed to help make the shoe more stable, has also broken. The shoelace just ripped right through it! I am extremely disappointed with the quality of these shoes considering what they cost. That being said, yes, they look good and they felt good on, but they are a waste of money.
