These feel like you're walking on clouds. So soft on the sole of your foot. And it's a great choice if you have wide feet. I usually wear size 6.5 EE sneakers. Because the widest here is WW = D width, I ordered a size 7. I think a 6.5 would have been OK. Not only did these fit, but there's a bit of room to spare. It's not that the base of the shoe is super wide, it's that the strap is generously sized; it won't cut into your foot. I wish SAS would add arch support to it's shoes, but until then, this is a great choice.

I knew that I would love this sandal because I have been wearing the Huarache for years now. The Helena is basically the exact same sandal with the exception of the rhinestone cluster on the vamp. With this sandal I can walk comfortably all day. I have been wanting a black version for some time and now I have it!

I really like this shoe, however it was FAR too narrow for what is supposed to be a wide or "D" fit. In the past year I was diagnosed with non-diabetic neuropathy and it's imperative that the balls of my feet and toes are not pinched into shoes, so it's back to Zappos for this pair. Will reorder in the "EE" width and hope that works. Otherwise, SAS styles with cushioned insoles and foam wedges are absolute heaven for someone with my feet issues. Crocs and Oofos have awesome cushioned flip flops, but are a bit too casual for evening's out and the office. This summer, I've literally bought and returned 15 pair of dressier sandals trying to find a brand with styles that have enough cushion for me to be able to walk in them. SAS is the winner! Even though this pair didn't work out, I will keep three other SAS styles I ordered that are better designed for my issues.

If you are counting on these fitting like the Huarache sandal they are based on, you will be very disappointed. I have 4 pair of SAS sandals marked "7W" - the 7W in these is about 1/2 inch shorter and a bit narrower. I think SAS really screwed up the sizing of these.
