It is exactly what I have been looking for and finally was able to buy them at Disney Springs. I was just window shopping, went in and am happy that I did. Great replacement for sneakers with the added benefit of look great.

These shoes are perfect for plane travel - jeans, sport coat, XC4 Prentiss - you can sit next to a CEO and feel perfectly dressed for the 3 to 14 hour plane trips

No doubt, the most comfortable shoe I have. Got a pair at Christmas; headed to store tonight to buy 2 more pair. Stylish?; you bet, I get compliments. Comfortable?,,..I don't wear my other shoes and they were my favorites. And, did I say that they're waterproof, light, extremely flexible. Perhaps the only problem I see is that being waterproof, they might be too warm in summer; that's okay, I'll bet this company makes a nice summer shoe too.

Good stuff! As more colors & styles become available the more I'll purchase.

Need to go One size up, because of inner sole, But that's want make these shoe COMFORTABLE??

I can wear this shoe with a pair of jeans and sport coat for work and also dress it down with a nice pair of lululemon joggers..

Great walking shoe. I will be on the road in June, and they will be my everyday shoe.

I wear the two pairs (brown and nubuck) almost all the time.

I was on vacation to another state and found myself in desperate need of more comfortable shoes. We did a whole circuit of the mall (3 floors) and then walked into Johnston & Murphy. The staff there was attentive and funny. It was a night-and-day experience compared to the other stores we visited. I settled on this pair of shoes as comfortable and having enough style for work or a date night. I had to go up a half size compared to my normal clearance rack shoes, but these shoes have a removable insert if you need a little extra width. I tried both ways and they felt great. The one down side was that this was my first pair of leather shoes and I wasn't prepared for how much my feet were sweating. The next day I soaked right through the leather with the sweat. By the time I got home I worried that I had ruined the shoes. I went to my local Johnston & Murphy and was honestly surprised that I got identical service to what I received over 800 miles away. The gentleman was friendly and hands on. He helped me feel more relaxed. So much so that I bought more shoes... but that's another review. At the end of the day I did return the first pair of shoes. I'm sure if I had been more patient the slight stains I saw probably would have faded, but having not owned nice shoes like this before I felt more comfortable starting fresh. The gentleman at the mall was helpful in returning the shoes and getting the new ones shipped to me quickly. I can't say enough about the quality of the employees Johnston & Murphy hires. Great service. I've been alternating between the shoes I bought from them for about a month now and don't have any complaints. They're holding up well. They're comfortable. And people have noticed my improved choice of shoes. Pricing was comparable to high end stores where the shoes weren't quite as comfortable or adjustable. I'm likely going back for another pair of shoes soon just to round out my choices.

Use these on special occasions, very nice and fits my style.

I travel 95% and I was looking for a versatile shoe that works well with nice jeans, and my typical workwear. Im really impressed with quality and styling, at not a crazy price point.

Great shoe. The service life of a pair of shoes for me ispoor ( about 5-6 months because of sole and heel wear). Great comfort! My third pair of XC-4 shoes.

Product met expectations of person receiving this shoes as a gift

I bought the Prentiss U-throat a couple of years ago, and have really loved the comfort and the style - especially for active travel. I always get compliments when I wear the shoe. I saw the new buck plain toe at the Detroit airport and found it to be even more comfortable, and bought it immediately. Just purchased the Prentiss slip-on with the woven top - I wasn't sure about the look, but the flexibility and slipper-like comfort made up my mind quickly.

The shoe works well for home / office. It's a very stable fit.
