I'm pretty happy with these shoes; nice fit, comfortable, but hard to slip on. They have a loop on the back to assist, but it's not at all helpful. The back collapses when you try to push your foot in, especially with heavy socks. I end up standing up and shoving, but don't know how long before this will crush and damage the back of the shoe.

I haven't worn the boots yet however, tried them on and love them, very comfortable! However, the customer service agents leave a lot to be desired. The lost lady I spoke with, was the saving Grace. The company needs to be more picky when it comes to agents; some of them should not be in front of the customers.

I haven't yet hiked in these boots but I have worn them a few times in New England slush. They are very comfortable, have a high instep which is great. I hope I will like them on a long hike.

Really well designed and constructed. Overall I am very pleased. Only issue I have is that Oboz should have included a nice long shoehorn for people like me with high arches. This is not a boot design flaw! Because the design makes these boots fit snug around the ankle, which is great. Love the color, light weight, rocker type soles, and comfort. I'll be looking for another pair in a different color, and maybe they'll send me a shoe horn next time. Then they'll probably get 5 stars!

These boots are super cute and also stylish. The only reason I gave 4 in place of 5 stars is that for my feet they needed some breaking in. There is plenty of room for the toes to move about laterally but for my feet the height of the boot in the area of the front of the foot was a bit tight. After wearing them off and on for a week they feel much better. Looking forward to wearing them to Scotland in March.

Having moved to the Hudson Valley recently, hiking boots were necessary even for walking. Wore them yesterday 1st time. Comfortable. Good support. Bottoms comfy but with good support. I have narrow feet but with socks it was perfect. Only criticism is that when you sit, the higher ankle part does not give so I have to sit with my legs stretched out. On the other hand you need good support around the ankle for hiking.

I've had these boots for several months and I absolutely love them....or at least I thought I did. They're super comfortable, they keep my feet dry, and warm...most of the time. I take my dog for super long walks and they remain comfortable regardless of the distance. Last week I took my dog for a walk in the snow and I was SHOCKED when I realized how cold my toes got. And I was wearing thick socks!! So I will still recommend these boots as long as you stay out of the snow.

I want to start by saying that I really like this hiking shoe and plan to buy another pair when it's time to update. I love the feel of the shoe and I love the look of the blue shoe with the purple laces. The support is great as it feels like a firm shoe with sound structure rather than a softer shoe. That being the case, I found this shoe to be a little rougher at first and had a bit of blistering around my lower and upper ankles. The blistering wasn't severe, and I easily managed it with Band-Aids and duct tape. After 4 or 5 wears I no longer needed that extra protection and just wore socks. I love these shoes - but the strong, firm, structure & support meant a little bit of a break in period at the outset. But I think they are totally worth it, especially for winter hiking they can be a little bit slippery and harder on the ankles.

I got these bc I have weak ankles and fall a lot. They help stabilize me and I wear them all the time. Even though they aren't too small for some reason I lose feeling in my toes. Other than that, they are wonderful.

I've owned Oboz before and they were true to size. I recommend ordering at least a half size up on these.

These are great looking boots and are relatively comfortable, but they cannot handle ANY water what so ever. They aren't gussetted through the top and they allow the smallest amount of water to seep through and makes for soggy feet. Great for dry day hikes.

The shoes are true to size but leave very little room for a mid-weight hiking sock. Toe bed is also a little tight.
