It seems like darn tough have reshaped the toe-box on this sock, making it slightly roomier. Thank goodness! It was the one thing I'd have changed about this sock. Went from great sock to dream sock -- thank you darn tough!

I am new to merino will socks, but after wearing out cotton socks in mere weeks, buy big pack after pack of cheap socks just to have to replace them so soon I knew I needed to do something different. So after some google searching Darn Tough socks seems like the best, most durable option. I ordered too small a size to start, but customer service was quick and awesome about sending exchanging for a larger size. They feel great! Just enough cushion to keep my feet comfortable during a full day of work on my feet (Im a nurse). And I wear them for 2 or 3 days to work and the gym and they still hold their shape and there is no smell!! The height of the micro crew is just right and the tops fits snug enough to not slide down during the day, but not too tight that it digs in. I havent had a chance to hike in them, but after a few weeks of regular wear I can honestly say I am so happy for these socks and I cant wait to build my collection! I love the various color and pattern options. And they are made right here in Vermont!

They are hands down better than the socks I've always bought from a well known wool maker. Anyway, I'm giving your socks as Christmas presents this year to all of my canine SAR friends! I've been wearing Hiker Micro Crew Midweight socks for years for walking, hiking, and just because they look good. I love them because they fit well, never smell even after several wearings, and last much better than all the other brands I've tried. The midweight is a perfect amount of cushion for most uses all year long. The full cushion is great for winter for a little extra warmth.

I'd seen many people say that they swear by these socks, and after trying them out myself, I have to agree. They're great! So incredibly comfy and they keep my feet so dry! I was honestly surprised at how dry my feet were. They feel almost like a part of the food, as though I'm not wearing anything on my feet at all. And that's a plus for me because I really don't enjoy wearing socks, I only wear them at home when it's cold and my feet need warmed. I'm happy with this purchase and plan to buy more! They also seem as though they will hold up well which makes me happy too!
