I bought these for a trip to Canada. I wanted warm socks to wear in my winter boots. No major snow/winter activities. Just walking around in a minor snow storm. My feet stated sooo perfectly cozy! I will never venture out in cold weather without them!

Wife's no.1 sock . She is involved with hiking on religious pilgrimages..she became a fan on her hike to Portugal. Won't go on a extended hike without the them used them on hikes in Colorado, new Mexico,,california,and Arizona this past year.

Normally I dont wear wool because its itchy, but these socks are soft and comfortable, especially with the extra cushioning. They keep my feet warm, even though they arent bulky. My only issue is that I couldnt tell which sock height I needed when I used the Sock Finder. This is my second order because the first ones that I ordered were too short for winter wear. Micro crew are just right. I will be able to wear the 1/4 sock height ones this summer with shorts.

These are the best socks, most supportive and comfortable socks I ever owned. There is a style and weight for every shoe style and purpose. I have bunions and thesr socks are soft and cushioning without being bulky. With a lifetime replacement warranty, I will never buy socks anywhere else.

a little large on me but im in a weird size spot where a medium would be too small and a large, well, haha! love the color, love the height, love the cushion. they're soft, as always. I bought these because the first 3 pairs of medium weight hikers I bought have survived 3 or 4 years or nearly constant use BRILLIANTLY (no crustiness, no holes!) and I love them.

I think the socks are great. They are very attractive and the perfect weight to wear year round. I had purchased some for my boyfriend, he loved his so I bought these for myself!

I am new to merino will socks, but after wearing out cotton socks in mere weeks, buy big pack after pack of cheap socks just to have to replace them so soon I knew I needed to do something different. So after some google searching Darn Tough socks seems like the best, most durable option. I ordered too small a size to start, but customer service was quick and awesome about sending exchanging for a larger size. They feel great! Just enough cushion to keep my feet comfortable during a full day of work on my feet (Im a nurse). And I wear them for 2 or 3 days to work and the gym and they still hold their shape and there is no smell!! The height of the micro crew is just right and the tops fits snug enough to not slide down during the day, but not too tight that it digs in. I havent had a chance to hike in them, but after a few weeks of regular wear I can honestly say I am so happy for these socks and I cant wait to build my collection! I love the various color and pattern options. And they are made right here in Vermont!
