I understand why the company guarantees lifetime warranty! Ive had two pair of the mid weight hiker for three years, and I do a lot of hiking, and they are almost as good as new! I have ordered a few more pairs so I dont have wash as often. They are the only socks I where when Im in my hiking boots.

I love these socks. I do cut the top elastic band off because it cuts off my circulation. I really hate doing that, but it doesn't unravel or anything (perhaps you could make some that don't have tight elastic at the top?) Anyway, these socks are making my cold feet much happier this winter. But I also wear the low footies year round for working out. Superb socks. So comfortable and hard wearing. Worth the price, totally.

How can socks be wonderful? Well, they just are. Well made, warm, good looking, made in Vermont. Feels great on my feet when the weather is cold or wet or just right. I bought "Darn Tough" as Christmas gifts for family members. Fortunately I kept one pair but I am ready to buy more for myself!

Really the only socks I wear now, these for in with every other weight and height I have, love them.

The pair of socks that I bought were a Christmas gift for a hiking and trekking friend. She was delighted with the color of the socks and I am sure that when she wears them on a hike she will be delighted walking in them.

Why are our drawers full of Darn Tough socks? Because that's what we want for our feet. For Christmas our family exchanged more than 13 pairs of Darn Tough socks to one another! One present sure to please.
