Thickest sock I can find. The quality is other worldly (but I've also never been to Vermont). That extra padding keeps my feet dry all day while walking fields in the California summers in the valley. Yay 109F today. I wish I made better life choices like make socks for a living.

These are the best! I wear them every day when I pedal. I dont get any complements on my shapely legs and stylish socks, but I think Im rocking them.

Great overall sock. Comfortable and stays dry when hiking and camping. Highly recommend if you're in situations where you're stuck with the same pair for a couple of days. Glad I bought a pair, and will be back for more.

Perfect for my application, full size (14), heavy, dirt bike boots. Plenty of room in foot box, great thickness, enough for protection but not sweltering. Looking at additional sets for multi day rides.p

The socks keep my feet warm and dry during the cold winter days when Im wearing steel toed boots . I am impressed with the electricity of the socks, cause I have double EE feet.

These are rating as heavy weight, but they are not bulky like some heavy weight socks. I am a woman and wear a size 8.5 and the small fits me perfectly.

My over the calf Darn Tough socks have been my favorites for years. Strong, comfortable, warm, good looking. I was distraught when they both got holes after what, 8 years of heavy wearing?! I sent them to Darn Tough and they gladly replaced them. It was a breeze working with them and they communicated loud and clear how much they care about me as a customer. Oh yes, I do have 6 other pairs of DTs. Their customer care is as first rate as their socks.

Im tall, with big feet (size 17), so finding over-the-calf good hiking socks is a challenge. I now have five pair of these, so that I never have to hike without them! Excellent falls far short of describing these socks. Comfortable, great cushioning, impossible to wear out. I love them!!

So happy with my socks. I am a perpetual cold footed person and must wear wool socks year round. Very happy I have joined the good fight for quality and durability because in the last 2 years I have purchased 8 pairs of wool socks (not Darn Tough) and every pair has holes in them! I finally got tired of wasting my money and look forward to seeing how long it takes before I get to take advantage of the warranty. Love them, very comfortable and cushiony but not too puffy so as to not fit into my shoes! I am a female and purchased the mens size because it comes up higher which is what my cold shins need. They look great though and dont look manly but look very neutral which is perfect.

Most excellent socks. Its pretty chilly here (Alaska) and this winter my Darn Tough socks have kept my toes warm. This is the first time I haven't had to wear double socks! Sometimes my work is outside up north in the Arctic and getting cold feet is not only uncomfortable it's dangerous. The fit is great. Also a past issue for me. My feet are on the border size-wise. Socks are either too big (rare) or too small. These Darn Toughs are the "Goldilocks" of size-just right. And they stay up on my legs! Over the calf as well as boot length. They wash just fine and dry easily-low dryer or hanging. Remember to turn them inside out. Soft and supportive, Warm and toasty. Wish I knew about these years ago. Could have saved a bunch of money and been comfortable!
