I always have liked the Darn Tough socks. Their durability, comfort, and fit are perfect for me. And the amazing warranty makes them a must buy. The initial cash outlay is greater, but the warranty makes up for it.

I guess I let the term " lightweight " throw me off . These are plenty of sock for most occasions, and while I don't spend a lot of time staring at my socks, these do look great ! An integral part of caring for your feet. Get some, you'll thank me.

These have to be my favorite style by Darn Tough by far, and they are beyond comfortable. Wouldn't change anything about them!

These have a really unique color scheme and I look forward to showing them off when I get the chance. The quality of DT is unmatched honestly. I wear a pair nearly every day and they last a long long time.

These socks began to fray where they met the top of my boots. After my initial review I was contacted by customer service and have returned them for a refund. I will give the benefit of the doubt to them being just a flawed pair and will order a replacement pair to try before increasing my star rating.

These are comfortable socks but tend to slip down when worn with my new 8" Bean Boots. I'll update my review after I've worn them a few more times.

They are a little thinner than I thought they'd be but Darn Tough makes great quality items. It's good to see LL Bean selling good, local, American made products again.

My husband wears serious holes in all brands of socks. These last longer than most!

These socks run smaller then other darn toughs. size L fits a bit tighter.

Great socks. Not as thick as classic wool socks, but much more give. Wool tend to wear out in the back of the heal for me. These have a thicker padding there, whereas they are thinner around the center of the foot/arch. Only wish they went up a little higher on the leg.

These socks do not feel great on my feet even after wearing and washing several times. Also, I like a style that comes further up my leg.

Just couldn’t stand how tight they were on the leg part. Why? Even for someone with skinny legs they were unnecessarily narrow. Pretty though. Too bad.

Have NEVER had a problem with any L.L.Bean item UNTIL these sox! The inside threads kept coming loose, driving my feet crazy! Not too mention my mental well being. I forgive the manufacturer's this time but, next time, please inspect the inside of the sox before selling them. Many thanks to all the hard workers at L.L.Bean who have kept me reasonably sane and happy for over 50 years! Bless them all.

After about an hour of wearing these socks with 8" bean boots, the top of the socks have frayed. Not what I would expect from LL Bean products.

I wear an 11-1/2 shoe. Most socks that fit the shoe size of 10-12 fit. These will fit someone with a 7-8 size shoe. Unfortunately there is no XL size at LL Bean. Had to return them.

Ordered a large, shoe size is 10...these socks are under size. Very difficult to put on, no give in the sock neck...once on, comfortable...but not worth the effort putting on and taking off...

Shrink big time after first wash - didn't note any special washing instructions.

I was disappointed in these sox. They fit very snugly on my size 11 feet, almost painful - which is odd for sox. They barely cover above the ankle - short for crew sox. I don't care for sox like these that are hard to put on and hard to pull off.
