These are one of my favorite pairs among my now massive Darn Tough collection. I gravitate towards them when I know it's going to be a busy day because they're so cushy and always snug as opposed to the sometimes thinner running type socks Darn Tough has.

Manufacturing variance must have gotten a bit too large. I love Darn Tough and have used them as my go to hiking sock since 2019. I recently had to utilize the lifetime warranty for several pairs that saw quite heavy use and the years and miles finally caught up with them. Ordered a replacement for the standard issue denim midweight Hiking sock and was concerned upon receiving them that they felt awfully loose. Put them through the wash and once dry popped them on and noticed they are still too big. I'm not sure if I just got a pair that was on a machine with too high a variance or what but my shoe size and foot has remained the same so it was either a fluke or DT is now making their socks noticeably bigger than they once did. Pic included of the sock drawn all the way onto my foot. No tomfoolery was invovled. Simply took the socks out of my drawer in preparation for a hike and slipped them on. I cant stand having loose sock material in the toebox so wearing these gives me 0 heel support. I guess I need to try a medium?

These are my new favorite sock so comfortable! Ill be buying more as I replace all my old socks with these. Well made, sturdy.

Nice socks

My husband really likes these socks! He changes his socks a few times a day so asked for this second order. The first order was Medium size but is now finding Large a more comfortable fit as we do dry them in the dryer.

I have two pairs of socks to my name. I usually get at least 4 days out of a pair sometimes more without washing. They never smell. Prob because wool is anti microbial. I'm on my third warranty return (everything eventually wears out) on an initial 40$ investment. That means I'm now down to it costing me 7$ a pair with the warranty claims figured in. Which is phenomenal considering the quality. You won't find another company that takes care of it's customers like Darn Tough. This is your one stop shop for happy feet for the rest of your life :)

Perfect year round sock for me. I wear daily with Red Wing boots and these are just the right weight/ cushion. They also aren't too tight around my upper ankles.

Very comfortable, good fit. Durability expected, based on my last pair, at about 1,500 miles of all season hiking on the North Shore od Lake Superior.

I purchased a number of pairs many years ago, and used them repeatedly for hiking, and work (as a FedEx driver). They were fantastic! After getting holes from years of use, I sent them back, and now I have new socks again. I honestly dont think I will ever buy another brand of socks!

I love Darn Tough Socks. I was so frustrated with other brands constantly getting holes in them within less than 6 months of wear by simply wearing them around the house. Darn Tough is the only one I've found to be durable for extended periods of time and if that wasn't enough they're super comfortable as well!

Love the product! The midweight material has great cushion for hiking/everyday use. I mainly use these socks with cleats to play Ultimate Frisbee and the comfort/responsiveness balance is clutch. No boring colors here either! Nice to see some cool patterns with exceptional durability :)

You can never have too many pairs of Darn Tough socks as seen in my 30-pairs of DT's! They are the most comfortable, long-lasting socks I've ever owned. DT also stands up to their quality materials and construction by committing to a Lifetime Warranty! What more can you ask for? Having hiked all the Northeast 115, 4000' mountains in Darn Tough socks, I stand by my belief in and continued purchase of the socks that have always taken care of my feet.
