As a veteran of the army infantry, I learned to appreciate the value of both good boots and good socks. Although that time was many years ago, I took the lessons of foot care with me to this day. I wear wool socks year round, and although I tried many different brands, I was most pleased with Darn Tough. They have the best overall comfort, ease of care, and durability. In this case, I added another hiker boot full cushion midweight pair of socks as I find these to be the best general purpose sock for most occasions. I have stocked my son's sock drawer with Darn Tough socks. Even though he doesn't say anything about them, I found that he, too, wears his Darn Tough socks every day. I would recommend these socks to anyone and everyone.

tight knit, long lasting

Ive bought this sock as a Christmas gift for our son-in-law who is an avid hiker and backpacker, and boater. He has never owned a pair of Darn Tough socks and I decided its time he does!! We have 2 others sons who introduced me to these socks for their durability which is super!! For me the greatest quality is their warmth. I have poor circulation in my hands and feet and quickly find it difficult to be outside in Colorados winters for a length of time- until I started wearing Darn Tough socks 3 years ago. They are my best winter ally, and with a Womens large foot size there are enough colorful patterns to choose from the Mens socks.

Fantastic socks! Definitely a believer. Have worn them for years; love how they keep my feet warm or cool and comfortable year round! Also crazy about the lifetime warranty; when they eventually do wear out after years of faithful service, then Darn Tough will cheerfully replace them. Simply cannot lose!!!

Really nice socks

The perfect sock in my opinion! They are cushion comfy and stay up all day. I wear them for work but they are great for every day use.

After getting a pair of these as a gift I wanted more but ordered the wrong model, which didnt fit so well and began to unravel inside the cuff. I invoked the warranty and was guided through the steps to get them replaced with the type I wanted in the first place (thanks, Olivia). While more expensive, the new socks feel great.

These are the best socks. The cushion and fit are unmatched - we live in Florida and these dont over heat your feet. They fit snug without being restrictive and they dont bunch or slide down throughout the day. Have I mentioned the cushion - AMAZING. The recent pairs are a benefit of the lifetime guarantee- which also amazing. Dont buy from anyone else !

They keep my feet so warm, and I finally found some in size XXL! All of the claims are 100% true. The "darn" things are indestructible. So happy. I only wish I could make the dozen pair I already own could somehow be changed to XXL. Keep up the great work. Vermont!
