The socks that youve asked me to rate were a gift to one of the men in my familyI gifted a pair of Darn Tough each to 5 men and 4 women in my family. They all say the socks are great! Ive gotten to the point myself where I dont like to wear any other socks than my various Darn Tough pairs. They are warm, but not itchy, hold up well, and come in fun patterns. Only socks I wear. Hiking, in boots, anywhere. This is my second set. It took a long time to wear the last ones out but I did and they were replaced for FREE love it. Recommend them heartily . Thank you Darn Tough

I had to return these without using them because the stitching on the cuff/welt was damaged and coming apart upon arrival. Quality control probably should have noticed this - I did immediately. The positive is the great return policy.

Located in Minnesota, male in my early seventies, and I usually walk about 2 miles each day. Wear these socks spring, fall, and winter. The Merino Wool keeps my feet comfortable and dry no matter what shoe I am wearing. Own three pairs and love 'em. .

I like the heavy-weight full cushion hiker sock in cooler weather. The midweight I prefer in warmer weather. However, the midweight full cushion hiker is only partially true, as this sock does not have any cushion on the top of your feet. But, I believe these socks are the best buy of any socks on the market. As it is replaced even for fair wear and tear.

I have used Darn Tough socks for years. I take a lot of comfort in the lifetime guarantee -- usually if a company extends that you never need to use it. These socks are high enough and cushy enough for me -- I use them for general use and for golf. I had been trying to find socks that were dark blue and these were just what I needed.

So this was a replacement for another crew length sock. I am starting to understand better what I need in a sock. Cushioning is key. Not only does it cushion your foot, but I think it makes the sock last longer. I love this particular sock, even the colors that I choose, blue and green. But I can tell that they are continuing to improve the quality of their socks, this one is strong, comfortable and the knit even seems tighter and has great stretch with a wonderful fit.
