I always wear gym shoes. I don't like dress shoes. I'm on my feet all day long and like to be comfortable. My idea of dress shoes is a black gym shoe. I have worn dress shoes for special events in the past and routinely give away the shoes afterwards since I don't plan to wear them again, but eventually something comes up a few years later that my wife insists that I wear dress shoes for. Well, my daughter is getting married and I read good reviews about this shoe, so got a pair, and I'm breaking them in at home prior to the wedding and they are the most comfortable dress shoes I've ever worn. I'm not giving up my black gym shoes for day to day living, but I'm comfortable that I found a pair of shoes that'll get me through my daughter's wedding comfortably, and that I can keep for any future events.

Great fit. Comfortable for Church, and Lawn Party reception, and dance floor. Didn't feel tired in the foot department at the end of a long day.

The shoe fit true to size and is comfortable for walking and standing. Clean and glossy finish.

I put on a step counter and they felt perfectly broken-in after 5,000 steps. I did have to put a band-aid on both of my Achilles to prevent the shoes from rubbing into my skin, but all of the dress shoes I own do the exact same thing. I was getting compliments all night about my shoes. You can't go wrong with these.
