Very impressed after running for 2 years in the Clifton 3. GoRun Ride 7 is a better ride for me. Can do the long runs with ease and even add some tempo in the run! Felt a tad stiff out of the box but after 2-3 miles, I was super happy. Fit is phenomenal. Skechers performance line up are on point!

Excellent running shoe. The Gorun Ride 7 has quickly become my favorite running shoe. Fit is very versatile with removable top sock liner. Lacing is nice and supportive without feeling restrictive. Great heel lockdown, no slippage. I never had to fiddle with the lacing to get it to fit right. First try and I got it right. I can't say this about the lacing on any other running shoe I've had. Cushion is perfect blend of comfort and response. Terrific for long runs, but also encourages you to go fast because of M-Strike rocker design. Very comfortable. I've been looking for my go to daily training running shoe for quite a while and I've finally found it. Skechers Performance running shoes are the real deal. This new lineup for 2018 (Forza 3, Gorun 6, Gorun Ride 7) are very promising!

I love this shoe and its design. Unfortunately, the shoe is too narrow for me. I normally order all my shoes in wide but wide was not available. I was just hoping they ran a little wide. When they make wide sizes available I will buy several pairs.

I really loved the Go Run Ride Ultra 2 shoes but the 4 MM drop starting causing me problems with my AT. I had a pair of the Go Run Ride 6, that I did not like. I wanted to try out the new cushioning and these were the only ones available. I thought I would send them back after walking around in them in my house. I was wrong. Wore them for 3 weeks straight, to work, going out etc. Then came the first run, thought if they sucked I would keep them to wear to work. Well they are now my favorite running shoes. I have taken them out for a 7 mile, and 2 7.5 mile runs. I am very happy with them. My AT problem seems to be going away and the cushioning is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been wearing these in size 9.5 for years. Had to order a full size larger. Disappointed with the fit overall byt Zappo's made the exchange easy.

disappointed with the fit — running a full size small based on previous year's models. I've been wearing these since the first edition!

The shoes feel great from the very first day. I originally bought my size, and they were too small. I bought a half size larger, and they fit great.

This is my second pair of GOrun Ride. Comfortable shoe, good cushioning for long runs, not a lot of drop heel to toe. I got about 300 miles out of the last pair (version 6), which is about normal for me before things start hurting. Hopefully these last as long. These 7's (in 9.5) fit just like the 6's did. Not really any change that I see between the 2 versions. They look fine I guess but I don't care much how my running shoes look, just gonna put miles on them & then throw them out.

This is my second pair in 5 months, really impressed with them. I find them better than the GT-2000's I wore since I started running 12 years ago. The first pair of go run ride 7's, 250 miles on them before they started to break down on the grip and cushioning. I average 5 miles at 2-3 times per week, heavier runner at 215lbs.

This shoe is a really good running shoe for mid to long runs with good support and structure, while not bulky and heavy. I am curious to see how it will perform during some speed work. Toe box is tight and requires a thin sock to make it more acceptable. This shoe is much more plush than the Forza, and has little in common with the GoRun5. I still very much enjoy the Forza for tempo type runs and the GoRun5's for speed work. I am enjoying the GoRunRide7's enough to be seriously considering them for an upcoming Ironman.

Honestly I got the ride 7's because they were cheap, but it turns out they are really pretty good. I'd say an pretty good alternative to the Hoka Cliftons. About the only negative is the knit upper takes forever to dry after a rain run, or just being soaked in sweat. Oh and the grey version I got are really kinda bland looking. If they are selling at their list of $90 I'd say get last year's Cliftons instead. But If they are on sale for $64 like I found them snap them up.
I'd also recommend:

I have been running for 6 years and all of my shoes are Skechers Go Run. In Go Run 7, I have run 500 km this year and they show no sight of wearing out. They are comfortable, very light and durable, promote M-strike. Drawbacks: less comfortable heel notch to put on, also the top knit-like material is too flexible. In my local shop, they had only dark blue and black colours, I think I would love a brighter hue. Though (!) my first Go Run 3 were really the best shoes for all these years.

Great for tempo sessions and long runs. Would be better if you'd offer a wider option.

Not a bad budget running shoe but just not for me. You can take these shoes on long runs and they provide great cushioning. There is an option to remove the insert to give you a closer to the ground feel for faster runs. They are light-weight with a breathable upper that wraps your foot like a sock but this bothered my foot causing some blisters. The toe box is a bit narrow for me but I believe these are worth a try as it is a very versatile shoe.

Loved the look. Unfortunately it was too snug in the toe box. I had ordered a half size larger. I have 6-8 pairs of Skechers and this was the first that did not fit.

The shoe is a bit too narrow for my foot. Even sizing up a half-size, I have to wear the thinnest athletic sock I can find to have these feel comfortable. Also, in general, doesn't feel as cushioned or "springy" as the reviews I'd read in various running magazines/blogs. But willing to give them more of a chance to break in.

The GOrun Ride 7 should be a step-up to the Ride 6; no, it's not. The pull-tab feature is way too thin, making it virtually useless. The 6's pull-tab is the way to go :) Plus, the worst annoying feature: the removable insole is different to the 6's in that it seems to have more plastic on the bottom which when walk, gives a very annoying squelching noise! The only solution I have found is to swap the insoles and turn them around, which isn't ideal really. Or to insert the better 6's insoles. If you were to correct these 2 features, a good trainer.

Nice shoe, good fit with ample cushioning. I don't run due to my age but I walk a lot and most note that this shoe and the last pair of performance Skechers I purchased make groaning sounds when I walk. Its rather embarrassing.
