The description stated the bands were elastic, however, there was only a small section of one of the bands that stretched. I wear a wide width but even with the small amount of elastic, this sandal was not wide enough. I had really hoped it would work as we are going to a warmer climate and I need sandals.

I loved how these shoes looked! The arch support was perfect and walking on them at work all day would have been fabulous, except for the fact that strap running across my right foot rubbed my foot raw and actually broke the skin. I was in a lot of pain by the end of my work day. However, thanks to Zappos, I am able to return them without a hassle. I love Zappos!

Sizing is imperfect. I originally ordered in 8.5M, had to return and reorder in 8.5W, had to return again. Same size in wide looked almost a size bigger, like clown shoes. I reordered again in 8W and the length is good, but the back strap is loose and the fit is not good. Love the look, not so crazy about the fit.

These seemed like they would be comfy, but there wasn't enough velcro to make the back strap tight enough :(. Returned.

Very cushiony comfortable, but not enough support, and my foot moved around inside the shoe too much to walk confidently.

These shoes are super light but look bulky. Definitely not cute, and not comfy enough to make it worthwhile.

I returned these. The straps felt tight. But the reason I returned them is that they showed off the prominent joint on my 5th metatarsal, an unflattering look!

The strap material was very stiff and harsh. Veru uncomfortable.

I used to be a huge fan of Clarks & feel that they have declined significantly in the last 10 years. I saw these and thought they look really comfortable. I have a wide foot & unfortunately, these don't fit the shape of my foot. It's almost like they are too straight & my foot curves. It may be due to how the elastic pulls the shoe, but the inside of my heel overlaps the inside of the shoe & the edge of the shoe sticks off the outside of my heel. Very awkward. These are going back.

This is not "elastic fabric" as advertised, but very stiff with very hard, cutting edges. So not at all comfortable

Too big. As other reviewers have noted, the heel strap is too large and can't be tightened enough. The whole sandal feels too big. Had to return.

This shoe has marvelous potential! The footbed is soooo comfortable. Unfortunately the straps on the top were so stiff and tight they made the shoes a nightmare. I have flat feet, but the bones on the top of my feet do come high---but not unusually high. Clark's---make a shoe like this with adjustable straps on top, please!
