Although I like the look of this model, the original Birkenstock Arizona in a narrow fits much better than this Birkenstock Arizona Hex. Also the footbed of the Original Birkenstock Arizona feels more supportive.

Just not was I was wanting out of good ole comfortable Birkenstocks. Although I love the style of the big buckle birks I can't figure out why they are not on the softbed sole and only come in narrow. I wanted to like them but not comfortable enough for me!

While I love the look of this Birkenstock with the large buckles, they are just terribly uncomfortable. I own two other pairs of Arizona, one with the soft footbed, and there is no comparison. This footbed felt so much harder than my other Birks, and there is no way I could handle any break-in period with these. Furthermore, they felt more narrow than my others, and I can't figure out why that would be. Disappointed to be returning these.

While I love the look of these, I’m getting blisters along the side of my foot anytime I wear them for more than an hour. I’ve hand birks in the past and this never happened. A couple friends said to keep wearing them and they’d break in. I’ve now worn them 8-10 times and it’s still happening. I was in so much pain on an outing that I had to buy another pair of shoes to wear home. I’m so disappointed with this pair. Not sure what’s going on with them.

I’m typically a 10 regular in Birkenstocks so I was apprehensive about ordering a narrow. I have a medium width foot and there just isn’t as much wiggle room as I like also it seemed a half size short. The footbed is very slippery compared to other styles. Very cute shoe but I’m uncertain how often I’ll wear them.

I loved the way these looked and ordered my regular size. I wear Birkenstock every day in warm weather. My shoes are made very well - this is the first time I have ever worn leather. But they are way too wide. Way too wide.

The color is great and the shiny gold buckles definitely make these more stylish “dressy” than the other pairs of Birkenstocks I have. But they don’t seem as comfortable and are super light. Maybe that’s not bad, haven’t worn them (outside of the house) to really tell. But they definitely seem like a different quality &/or material/construction than other Birkenstocks. For $150 I’m still on the fence with them...

What happened to the B reputation for having a cork bed that moulds to your foot? I have ankle problems and thought these would help. I wore them around the house and not only were they stiff, but the foot bed actually hurt as if I were walking barefoot. Pricey and I think they must no longer be made in the original country. I have worn them off and on in hopes that they would change, but no. My ankles are better but these are not! Too late to send back.

For anyone not paying super close attention, these only come in narrow from LL Bean, it says medium width(which I thought was the regular width for Birkenstock) but if you look in the details, it states that this is narrow(I however didn't read that until after they came ;) ). Disappointed as they are too small for my foot, I typically wear a 39 from Birkenstock. They are a super cute sandal though!

I made a grave mistake ? these look like elf slippers in the green color. And the quality is super cheap, there was green all over the cork and the sandal felt like dollar store sandals. Didn't live up to my expectations to be honest, especially for $150usd.

These shoes are so cute- I love the big gold buckle with the slightly metallic leather but mine do not stay buckled, and it’s so frustrating. I wish they stayed buckled- I’d live in them!

These were very comfortable out of box but I didn’t expect them to have a metallic sheen to the leather. Too flashy for me. (I did like the gold buckle though!) I exchanged for a plain suede pair.

I loved the sandal but the leather was badly scuffed with black marks. I had ordered a pair prior that was too big and I noticed a little scuff on that sandal but didn’t think much of it because I needed to size down. Then when the right size came the whole sandal was badly scuffed with black marks I was really disappointed. I may try again cause I loved the overall look.

Heartbreakers! So cute... and so uncomfortable! The narrow is supposed to fit average width as well but no dice, had them on the loosest setting and they are so tight, buckle digging in. Also when I walked they squeaked... quack... quack....quack..... my daughter said I sounded like a duck.

The color comes off the buckle. I spoke directly to Birkenstock and they told me it was my fault that I must have gotten bug spray or pesticides on them. It would have been nice had they came with a warning. It’s not like a poured it on them. Also, the silver scratches very easily. I had mine for 4 days when these problems started and Birkenstock refused an exchange or refund

Although advertised as equal to a regular width, this isn't so. It is narrow, even though with the buckles a regular foot can fit into it, it isn't comfortable with the ridges around the footbed. It is not comfortable and not comparable to a regular width Birkenstock. Very disappointing. I would love Birkenstock to make any of the big buckle shoes in a regular width.

These are the worst Birkenstocks I've ever tried on. Doesn't even seem like the same company made them. The "blue" color buckles have 80s brass buckles. Hideous! And the footbed is the most uncomfortable footbed I've ever tried on. Really can't believe these are Birkenstocks.
