I am a big fan of Birks--my favorites styles: Arizona (39N) and Monterey (39N). I've never bought a Papillio/Birk style till this suede sorta-arizona, sorta-gladiator Linnea. In general shoes, I fall in the 8.5-9B range sizewise and was uncertain which to buy here. I started with the 8.5. They fit fine, arch in the right spot, though perhaps a tiny bit short on my longer foot, however, it's not a sandal I'd like to wear too long. The whole sole is pretty stiff/unbending. I prefer a softbed insole, these feel like the classic Birk footbed, pretty unforgiving till worn in a bit. Good support from my sky-high arches, too. The suede upper is soft to wear right out of the box, just like classic arizonas in suede, the insole lining is suede and the gray color (cool toned gray) is spectacular, not as harsh as black for the summer. I'm thrilled with these. May have to get the taupe. I love wearing cropped pants n warm weather and these will be terrific with my favs. Or skinny jeans.

I love these shoes! I'm a teacher and on my feet all day,these were great from the moment I put them on to the moment I took them off. No break in period needed. This alone makes them worth every penny in my book. I have regular width feet but the narrow gave me plenty of room, I don't think these would work if you have narrow feet. The charcoal color is beautiful and the wedge heel ups the style factor in my book.

I wanted to keep these, but my heels are VERY narrow and my feet are generally narrow...these did not work well for my feet personally. I AM able to wear narrow-sized Birkenstocks. They are lovely, just not for me.

These shoes are adorable - look great on, but run wide. I bought the narrow and it was way too wide. I wear a narrow in most brands, but the Birkenstock narrow runs a bit wide - these were way too wide.

I practically live in Birkenstock’s. These are nice when I want to dress up a bit. I can’t wear heels anymore due to foot problems so I’m glad that Birkenstock has come up with these slightly fancier models as an alternative to regular heels.

I love these so much! I can't wear all of Birks' narrow widths, but these are wide enough. They are SUPER comfy, cuter than a regular Arizona, and I love the gray color.

If only I didn't live in a clay dust-blown area, I'd keep these in a heartbeat. Sadly, they'll get too dirty too fast for me. Great neutral cool tan color suede. Straps every bit as soft, pliable and comfortable as BIrk's classic Arizonas, but set up on a platform heel with an ankle strap to keep them secure on my feet. I ordered the same size as I wear in Arizonas (39N). They are a little loose on my feet --but not as loose as Arizonas. Come summer, I'll be glad to have the extra wiggle room. The footbed feels like the same contoured cork. However, the outer sole is a thick, less flexible latex maybe? so not bendy but still easy on my feet. I much prefer the anthracite color to this taupe due to the dustiness of my envirnoment. The light color will show clay dirt much too much. But it looks terrific on my feet indoors.

Normally wear a 9.5 or 10 in sandals, bought the 10- 10.5, couldhave gotten away with 9- 9.5 because the soft leather with stretch over time. Birkenstock Linneas are extremely comfortable from the start. The three different buckles allows for custom fit. Very trendy while being sturdy and supportive. Can be worn with modern cut-out jeans to sundresses. The gray is the best color- goes with literally everything. First time Birkenstock wearer. NO regrets here.

OH, so close. Why did they have to put a rivet on the inside of the ankle? I loved the silky suede of the grey color. The platform made it look like a heel without actually being a high heel. The shoe feels wonderful, except for the RIVET on the inside of the ankle. It rubbed. Such a shame, because these are seriously cute.

With 20+ pairs of Birkenstocks in my closet, I wanted to love these heeled gladiator sandals. The suede is soft and footbed superb; however with my narrow foot, I was maxed out on the straps with no way for further holes to be punched without losing design. And completed buckled in, there was still "spare" room and the suede gapped out between upper and second buckle. Wishing doesn't make it so, so they have to be returned. As always, the shoes arrived here in remote Montana within a day. Best online shopping anywhere.

I normally wear narrows in all Birkenstock sizes. These Birkenstocks felt completely different and were wider than I'm used to. They really did not represent the true Birkenstock fit so I was very disappointed. The reviews I looked at on Zappos we're not entirely clear or thorough in their description of how these shoes fit. However, with that being said, I find that Zappos customer service was spot-on and all the representatives were very nice and helpful at the same time even providing me with speedier shipping process. I like the way these shoes looked but unfortunately they just did not fit like a true Birkenstock and deceptively advertised as narrow when they were really regular to wide. The information given that they fit regular widths as well was not at all helpful. Thanks to Zappos for their friendly and helpful customer service.

I so loved these , but they were too big. I’m a size 5-5.5 (in between a 35 and 36) and I think a 35 would have fit. But they don’t make them in a a 35, waaaaa! I love them so much , please please please make them in a 35 Regular!!!!!!!

I wear Birks because they are super comfy. These are no different. They fit true to size, comfy, and are cute! I'm 35 yrs without really any feet issues and have pretty normal looking feet (not too wide or slim) and normal arches. I have had back surgery so when I wear these or any of my birks it helps me feel more stable and aligned especially when walking for a while vs wearing a pair of cheaper sandals. These shoes happen to have a rugged feminine vibe which I absolutely love! No break in period needed for me. I'm not sure if these would be your "go to" shoe for hiking or a day at Disneyland as they do have a wedge, but they could get you around comfortably at the mall, running errands or a stroll around town, museum etc.

I like them a lot.

Super comfortable in an unexpected style.

I love these shoes! Birkenstock comfort with extra style. They are definitely chunky but I think they look great with long skirts & with skinny jeans. Versatile color too. I’ve gotten compliments each time I’ve worn them. I expect I’ll wear them a lot this summer.

I have pttd and need shoes with good stability and arch support. For the past year or so, I've been wearing sneakers with removable liners and custom orthotics. They don't really look good with dress pants at work. I live in FL and wanted something that I could wear occasionally that would support my foot, including arches, keep my feet cool, and look good with dress pants. These sandals do the trick. After a day of shopping in them, my foot and ankle felt fine. They are totally worth the cost.

I ordered several pairs of Birkenstock sandals. Unfortunately, I could keep only one pair. These were in my top two, but sent them back. Like everything about them. Maybe next time.

I normally wear wide shoes/sandals, these are narrow, but they fit perfectly! They feel very comfortable and looks cute! I love ‘em!

Have yet to wear these any length of time but in trying them on they feel perfect at present. I have been used to the Birkenstock with the hard leather which requires a certain amount of breaking in. These are comfortable right out of the box. For reference I normally take a 7-7.5 - 38 is perfect. I have a medium to narrow foot, high rigid arch as well as tendinitis issues in 1 foot - neither are issues in this scandal.

I loved these so much when I bought the grey pair last spring that I just bought the black. I wear a size 7 and 37 is my perfect Birkenstock size (though the size charts say 38 should work, I find that size too big). Stylish and comfortable, I get a million compliments when I wear these. I also bought the Gizeh platform in black this summer so, hey, Birkenstock, bring on more platform styles!

I LOVE these shoes! I get so many compliments and double takes--"are those Birkenstocks?!"--and they are very comfortable. It's nice to be able to have a shoe that's both fashionable and silky to wear. More like this, please, Birkenstock!

Favorite sandals this summer! I was so glad I splurged on these. They are perfect for when you want to wear your comfy sandals but your classic Birkenstocks are too casual. These are dressed up just enough. Very cute summer shoe.
