When I first got these shoes I was so excited because they were really cute and the cushioning was better than most shoes I've tried. I originally gave them a 5 star rating. However, now that I've owned them a while I feel like I need to update my review. First of all, although they are "cushioned" they are not "soft". The foot bed material is so rough on my feet that after a while it rubs them RAW . Secondly, I HATE that they say the hook & loop closure is "adjustable. It is not. I mean, you can open and close it, but it's not really adjustable. I still think they are really cute, but since I already have serious problems with foot pain it is difficult to wear these for more than a hour or so at a time.

I really needed navy shoes and very hard to find. I’ve been waiting for these to be restocked. I wear a 7M and I own 5 pairs of Clark Cloudsteppers sandals all were ones you could wear right out of the box. These did fit but there was flaws in the design. This sandal rubbed in two places. The ankle strap was a sturdier material and the seam where the material changed is thick and rough and the strap across the instep where it gatherers there’s a seam on that piece of material both of these areas rubbed. Breaking in would not be an option for this fault. Maybe next season Clark will have a new style for a true navy sandal. Returning is the only option.

I usually wear an 8. I have tried this item in several sizes but even sizes smaller than an 8 have the same problem: the heel strap is too long and the velcro strips are not long enough to secure a safe and stable fit at the heel. So cannot safely wear them. A shame.

have to be honest - - the right shoe is fabulous, however, the left shoe has fault with it. . . the little piece of material that gathers around the straps was not put together correctly and left it with a bunch of material that was very hard. I wore the sandals last night and wound up with a sizable blister on the top of my foot. I don't know if I could wear them again cause I don't know how to get rid of the hard bump. Perhaps a band-aid if it doesn't show. Do you have any suggestions? I can't cut it off because I fear it will come apart.

Soft bands on top is a good idea but they have no stretch and run very narrow even in a wide width! I tried a size larger but they still "cut" into my feet.

Where to start? Simply the best. The red is super cute with summer shorts or dresses or skirts. My feet are so happy in them. They did stretch a bit by the end of the summer. I’m curious if I can wash them - but I don’t want to risk it. I loved them so much I ordered the purple as my “house” shoe since my feet get achey at the end of the day (I’m in my 30s but do a lot of hiit training and need to treat my feet right!). So wearing these great support shoes have really helped. Would love some in a olive green or mustard yellow. The black look a little too granny. But the red and purple are super darling!

These sandals were very comfortable for my trip to Hawaii where I did miles of walking every day. I wore them on sidewalks, in the water, and on the beach without issues. I have a high arch, and as other have noted the decorative knot that holds the straps together pressed uncomfortably into the top of my foot. I just snipped the knot with scissors, which alleviated the discomfort but did not affect the way the shoes held my feet.

I love the style. They are very comfortable and supportive in the footbed. Yet, the cloth straps are cute. The left shoe was just as comfortable and fashionable as I'd hoped. But the knot on top of the right shoe is a little out of place or twisted and can't be stretched or repositioned, so I can't walk very far without it raising a blister. Will wear these only when dressed semi-casually but not walking a lot--in other words, not often. Too bad!

My daughter doesn't like to have tired feet and these were perfect for her comfort level.

I absolutely love these shoes! However...the right one is too big. Not sure if it’s been tried on too many times and stretched out? I also ordered the light grey and they were fine! No issues!

I purchased the Clarks Aral Primrose in the Blue/Gray. I liked the color and the style. I actually saw a women wearing these and asked her what they were. She told me she got hers on QVC and got a great deal, but I love Zappos so I came home and looked them up to see if Zappos carried them. Yes, they did indeed - and for a much better price than the women paid - plus FREE SHIPPING. When I first tried on these shoes, I thought my feet were in heaven and that I struck not only a great pair of summer sandals that were dressier than the normal Birkenstock sandals I wear, but also so comfortable. Well, they were both more stylish and comfortable. However, just after about ten minutes of walking around my house, my feel started to feel hot. I do not have trouble with hot or sweaty feet, so I found this odd. I took them off for that day and tried them the next day, the day after and one more time. Still same issue. To me, this is a sign of not good quality material. Quality material let your feet breath. So, these sandals went back. It's too bad because they were cute style and comfortable and a great price. I just knew if I kept them, they would sit in my closet and then I would end up donating them. I can't waste money that way. FYI - I used to be a big fan of Clark's so I ordered five pairs of different styles for the fall. All those went back as well. The quality of Clarks has gone down hill - big time. I am done with Clark's as a brand. This is too bad as they used to be one of my "go to" brands. Thanks Zappo's - you are still THE BEST!

Most comfortable pair of sandals ever! I walked a lot in them - no blister. The name Cloudsteppers is truly fitting! I will be buying more!

My daughter told me about these sandals and how she loved them. I ended up buying three different colored pairs for myself and another color for my daughter. I have gotten many compliments. It took awhile to figure out how to adjust the straps, but they are very comfortable now!

I was a little nervous about the knot strap, but I haven't had any problem with it at all. After 2 weeks of wearing these to walk about a mile every day, they've always felt like a dream from the beginning to the end of the day and haven't caused any rubbing or irritation at all. These are the most comfortable sandals I've owned, and they fit the chunky shoe trend enough to look modern but not overly trendy. And, they run true to size, which is great considering I'm a size 12 and have no size up option. Not sure if either of those things makes a difference in fit, but my foot is a little narrower than average width, and I have a moderate arch.

I absolutely adore these shoes. I like to wear sandals or open toed shoes year round, and I travel quite a lot. I have walked all over Europe in these, and so I purchased another pair (same color) and plan on buying more colors! I feel like they are light weight and so versatile, which is essential for travel footwear. I also love how they look. You can wear them with dresses, or jeans or shorts or skirts- pretty much anything looks great. Dressed up or down, they are a great shoe. I will say, I have tried on sandals with knots or buckles that hit in the wrong spot, these do not for me however, everyone's foot is different. I usually wear a 7.5 but like the 8 better as the strap on the back is adjustable and sometimes my feet will swell after a long day in humidity.

Most comfortable sandals ever and I’ve received many compliments on them. Bought the light gray ones first and loved them so much that I bought a second pair in navy.

These feel so good, I’m sorry I didn’t get another pair in a different color. Still might buy a second pair. Hurry and get yours before they sell out.

Yes, all was as expected

These are the most comfortable sandals ever!! I can wear them all day and not have tired aching feet. Perfect for hot Florida days.

Wonderful sandal except for the heel strap Velcro needed to be shorter to made it hug the heel better. I wore the shoes today and was comfy. I had to get my husband to get it as tight as he could get it. I bought some sling back heels and they had notches that was better at the heel.

Have had many pairs of Clarks over the years and found most of them to be comfortable and long lasting. Saw these while shopping and found them to initially be abit unattractive. After trying them on and walking around, couldn't believe how comfortable they were, plus better looking when on your feet. Bought them--and also a pair for my sister, whom had earlier called them the ugliest, ever, shoes! Finally got her out of her unsafe, unattractive, backless sandals, plus bought them in red. We now be walking comfortably, safely, and be stylin'.

I was thrilled to receive these sandles and have them fit. I have very wide feet and have had a problem finding shoes to fit me. I love the color. I also have them in Black.
