Returned these -- I like the look and quality but wasn't happy with the fit.

I loved the way these looked, but they slipped off my foot...

I was so disappointed these did not work for me. I love the look! Felt fine at first but as I walked in them my foot was pushed forward until my toes were all scrunched up. Ordered my regular size. Unlike some reviewers the heel stayed up and in place. Please rework this style. Would try again with some modifications!!

I wear 37s in Birkenstock open-toed sandals, but these felt half-to-full size smaller than the sandals. I went up a size, but that was still too tight for my bunion. Other than that the length and arch support are exactly what you'd expect out of a Birk. I had no issues with the back of the shoe falling off, as the scrunched feel hold them in place. Sadly returning as my forefoot is not comfortable in these.

These are too short and my toe digs into the end. The suede is really nice and arch support is great. Sadly will be returning.

The fit was okay, but just okay. I wanted to love these shoes so badly but I just could not. I had them on my feet for about 30 seconds and could not wait to get them off. I have worn Birks before so I know that they take breaking in but there is no way that I could have kept them on long enough for that. Do not buy these if you are not a friend of pain! It was the fastest that I ever returned anything to Zappos.

I have several foot issues- Morton’s neuroma (so I need a wide shoe/toe box so as not to squeeze my toes), very high arches and pronation. After reading the reviews about this new version of the Celina, without a gathered heel area, I thought that the softness of the suede (no tight leather) and Birkenstock removable footbed would comfortably address my issues. I sent back the shoes because the footbed did not hit my sole comfortably and the suede really offered me no support around the foot. To keep this shoe on, without jamming my toes into a too small size smaller, I really needed an ankle strap to keep from walking out of this shoe.

I feel like these aren't designed well. They slip off of my heel when I walk, but at the same time are too short and jam my toes to the front. I'm not a shoe designer, but my best guess is that this has to do with toe coverage. If there were more, I think they'd hug the foot and stay on better. Otherwise, the coral color is really nice, and the footbed is great. But, definitely returning since there's just no way for me to wear these.

I typically love Birkenstocks, but these missed the mark. First, the suede was rough and the construction was cheap looking. Second, the toe box was too shallow. The shoes are wide enough, but the top of the shoe pressed uncomfortably on my toes. Finally, the heel was loose and rubbed my foot. I did like the arch support, but not enough to overlook the other issues.

I wanted these to work so I ignored the reviews. These shoes are cute and comfortable. As long as you don't try to walk. I got the Celina II with the revised higher back. They still flap up and down when I try to walk. I wore them all around the house hoping I was wrong, that they would work to walk in. They just don't. Love them, but the design flaw that everyone else identified in the reviews is accurate: they don't stay on your feet when you walk. I don't have a narrow foot.

I wanted to like these but they didn't fit right. Had to return.

I thought these shoes would be my solution to wearing Birkenstock with casual dresses. For me the style was perfect for this use. The size & width were the problem. The 36 was too narrow my toes had no room. The 37 was too big, my feet slipped out. I returned both sizes. ??

The shoe looks cute and is of good quality. The sole feels great, just like my other Birkenstocks. The problem is that the heal does not stay on my foot. After trying them on at home, they felt great. I am on my feet and walk a lot at work and the shoes do not stay on my feet. So disappointing.

Normally I wear a 39 in Birkenstock and I have many, many pairs! I had to send the 39 back for a 40 which was ALSO too short in length. I'm hoping to try in a 41 once they are in stock. So disappointed in the strange sizing on these because the style is very cute and the insole is very comfortable! Order 2 sizes larger than you normally wear!

I measure a 6.5 D and own 5 pairs of Birkenstock sandals. Thought I would try to keep my back happy with closed-toe Birk shoes for fall, but these were a disappointment. I ordered my usual size 36, but found these too short and tight, with the seam cutting directly across my bunions on both feet. I may try a 37 just to see how they fit.

Unfortunately these have to go back. For some reason the elastic back shoves your foot forward in the shoe so your toes are crammed up front and the back flops off.

I am so sad to give a poor review since I love Birkenstocks, but these are super uncomfortable.

These did not work out AT ALL. I love my Birkenstock sandals (Gizeh) and literally they are the only shoe that truly doesn't give me foot pain. I am always hoping the closed Birkenstocks will work out...these had potential, but as another reviewer mentioned, the elastic at the back is so tight that it pushes the foot forward into the top of the shoe, rendering them unwearable. So sad! The color is lovely and the suede is soft. Had to return.

Footbed felt like a Birk — that’s the good part. The shoe overall looks like an ill-fitting slipper. Back is way too big — and I usually go for the regular Birk footbed. It looks comical and sloppy. I’d say, get yourself something like the Naot Kirei if you want a comfy ballet flat. The pink color was nice!

Scrunchy heel area won't stay up on heel, causing the whole shoe to slide off every 5 or so steps. Arch support and toe bed area comfortable, just extremely poor design on the heel. Super bummed to have to return.

I've been in search of a basic ballet flat with good arch support and thought I had finally found it with this shoe. The shoe is cute and has great arch support and a nice cushioned sole, HOWEVER - the heel slips off immediately and b/c of the ruching on the heel, you need a free hand to get your heel back in. I put these on and walked down the hallway and back and had the shoe slip off my heel 3 times. Perhaps this is a fit issue unique to me, nevertheless these are going back and the search continues.

I love my Birkenstock sandals, but tried my regular size and a size bigger and they still don't fit correctly. They run narrow and if you have a high arch they're tight across the top of the foot/toes. Unfortunately I will be returning them. I was really hoping for a pair of comfortable flats!

I love the style of these shoes! And I am obsessed with anything that has a Birkenstock footbed. But these shoes slipped off the back of my heels when I walked. The elastic band that goes around the back of your heel/foot does not securely stay in place.

These were cute, but too big in the heel. I should have listened to the reviews, but took a chance to see if I liked them. I'm sad they're going back.

These shoes looked exactly what I was looking for , but unfortunately the other reviews where correct. My heel slipped out of the shoe with every step. Had to return them.
