These fit kind of wonky.... my toe hits the front of the shoe, but there is room in the back but it slips off my heel.. I only had them on for a few hours today at work but them felt great on my feet, just like my other birks. I'm going to keep them because I REALLY need comfortable shoes (I work 10-12 hr shifts on my feet) before fall comes and I can't wear my birkenstock sandals.

I bought these shoes to wear around inside the house for more support then just walking bare foot. I think they could look a little nicer in order to dress them up a bit but for what I have planned for them they’re just fine. I bought the black and after a few weeks of wearing them a few hours a week the color is still wearing off on my feet. My feet are black when I take them off. I bought the same size as my sandals and they fit just fine no rubbing or falling off.

Not as comfortable as my Birkenstock boots, sandals, and sneakers, but way more comfortable than my cheep ballet flats. These run much smaller than Birkenstock sandals the same size, more narrow and shorter, and take a bit longer than usual to break in.

Was happy to see the Celina re-designed because I wanted to have a comfy, work-appropriate flat from Birkenstock, but had the same problems as everyone else with the original. Unfortunately, I had to return these too. Got my usual size 39 for my 8.5-9W feet. I don't know if their "regular" width is different for certain styles, but this was definitely not as wide as my Gizeh and Yara sandals (about an inch narrower). I thought the length was okay, though my feet slipped out with some initial steps. My biggest problem was the toe box -- I felt like it wasn't tall enough and my toenails kept rubbing the stiff top which was very annoying and the eventual deal-breaker. Really wanted it to work out, but I guess I'm still on the hunt.

I wants to love these shoes so much. After reading the reviews I decided to pass on the Celina until I realized the Celina II was available and seemed to fix all of the problems from the original shoe. The pros are that they’re very cute, stylish, and have a great sole and wide toe box width. The cons are: * Top of shoe indents and presses down on my toes creating a deep and painful wrinkle * Toe box height is narrow and presses on the top of my foot. I have a high arch so others may not have the same issue. *Stiff fabric on the edges are very painful. If you have wide feet make a hard pass on these shoes. They’re not as wide as the Arizona style.

This ballet flat is made well but does not cover enough of my foot. The Opening hits within the area my toes need to flex making them very awkward to wear. The are more narrow than I find comfortable. I bought them after reading that they were clunky for ballet flats which I prefer! They would be great for someone with a very narrow foot looking for a well made lady-like ballet flat.

Super disappointed with these Birks! Seems lost in translation when going from sandals (which I LOVE and literally are the only shoes that make my feet happy) to closed shoes. Lovely color and the leather is OK. Mostly the elasticized style backfires because it just pushes your toes into the top of the shoe. Had to return.

I really, really hoped these shoes would work. I am a big Birkenstock fan, and thought it would be great to have a pair which was cute as well as great feeling! the suede is soft, but that back elastic... it doesn't slip off my heel, but it looks baggy and kind of slipper-ish. Sigh....

I always wear a 9 and I completely walked out of the shoe. Couldn’t keep them on my feet.

I really wanted to love these shoes - they were cute, the support felt great, and they fit well in the heel (I have a narrow heel so sometimes I struggle to find flats that work), but I had to send them back because the toe box area was just too short, and my toes felt uncomfortably squished with every step. Worth a try if your'e looking for some supportive flats, but I wish Birkenstock would retool these just a little bit - then they'd be perfect.

Really wanted to love these shoes but sadly I did not. Way too narrow over the top of my foot. Felt super stiff. I do love every other pair of Birks that I've purchased in the past but not at all happy with these. Returned them.

Cute enough, but something is definitely wrong with the fit. I didn't understand how a shoe could smush your toes but also slip off your heels, as other reviewers said, but now I know. I originally ordered a 37, which is the size of my other Birkenstocks. They slipped off my heels every step I took. I exchanged them for a 36. I kept them because I'm too lazy to return another pair, but they are not very comfortable. My toes do feel smushed and my feet always seem to be pushed forward. They don't slip off at least. also, the arch seems to be in the wrong place, which is the most upsetting part. I think this is related to the overall strange fit where my foot just can't seem to sit in the right place relative to the shoe. And they aren't cheap, so overall the shoes are disappointing.

Wanted to love this, and ignored reviews saying that toes hit the front of the shoe while it slides off the heel because I’ve been looking for flats with arch support for YEARS. Guess what? My toes hit the front of the shoe and the back slipped off my heels. I wish someone could make a flat with good arch support!

I really wanted to love this shoe. I love all of my Birkenstocks. But this shoe just doesn't work for me. I tried my regular size, and the toe hits in the front. I went one size up, and the back is too loose, and my toe still hits in the front. It's a really cute shoe, but something is wrong. Maybe it would work if you have short toes?

I have several pairs of Birkenstocks, sandals and clogs, all of which I love! I have foot problems, plantar fasciitis, bone spurs & arthritis. I'm a hairdresser.When I saw these "dressy" flats, I had to have them. I know that some Birks require breaking in, so I wore these around the house before wearing to work. I'm sorry Birkenstock, but these are the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. Ohhhh my feet killed me that day. Yes, there is a cork footbed, but there is no toe bar and my feet slid forward in the shoe jamming my big toes. I literally had a bruise on a toe after taking off the shoes. I wanted to love them, but unfortunately my feet can't take breaking in period. Also, there was a sewn seam that rubbed the side of my foot raw. Huge disappointment.

When I watched the video I was astonished as it showed the shoe quite crumpled around the woman’s heel as she modeled it. But then the shoes arrived and that is exactly how these shoes fit, or rather NOT fit. My toes pushed against the front, the whole foot slides forward with plenty of room left in the back. Thus the crumpled look around the heel. So Birkenstock makes the footbed in Germany. That then gets inserted into “the rest” of this item, which is made where? Shame on Birkenstock. It’s a nice design, shoddily done. Very disappointing.

These shoes run big.

I typically wear a 39, but these felt a little snug. I would have happily ordered a replacement 39, but they are not in stock and I need them sooner than later. They are super cute on. Perhaps they might have stretched when broken in, but they felt short, not tight, so I didn’t want to take the risk.

Supportive, cute, office-appropriate flats that accommodate my problem feet nicely and don't make anything (arches, toes, knees, hips) hurt? Be still my heart. Also please make these in red, and also in leather. Thanks.

After returning my first pair, I quickly received my exchange. These Birks run a full size big! I should have heeded all the reviews telling me to order down a size. I’ve worn Birks for at least 20 yrs so I thought I knew my size, but I was wrong for this style! The second, and smaller pair, fit perfectly except for a slight tightness over my big toes. I believe this will rectify itself after wearing a few days. I’m looking forward to enjoying these cute flats for a long time.

These shoes are SO CUTE. I’ve worn Birks for decades and didn’t heed the advice to buy at least a size smaller than usual. I should have listened!! So I returned the shoes and am getting a size smaller. I think the smaller size will be perfect and I will be very happy in these cute flats.

These are EVERYTHING I wanted the original Celinas to be. Birkenstocks are the only shoe I can wear comfortably. I was so excited to see that the Celina had been redesigned to address the complaints of the original style. The new design of the back makes the shoe perfect. I can't wait to order these in Taupe as well!

I was a little reluctant to order these since some of the reviews were not great, but decided to anyway. I have many pairs of Birkenstock sandals because they are just so comfortable on my feet and better for my knees but when I need to wear closed toe shoes for work or for dressier occasions, I have hard time finding shoes that are nice that don't cause me a ton of pain, I have wide feet and bunions. These fit my feet perfectly! I ordered the same size as I would in a Birkenstock sandal. The foot bed is a little different from the sandals in that there is no toe bar, but the arch support in the shoe is good. They are really comfortable, do not bother my bunions at all and do not rub or cause any discomfort on my heels. The soles are the same as a Birkenstock sandal, but it's not blatantly obvious that these are Birkenstocks aside from the name being stamped in the leather on the side facing inward. That would be my only complaint, I don't think they need to stamp the name on the leather on the shoe. But overall they are very comfortable and well worth the price!

The fit was perfect! The leather upper was so soft and comfortable! The sole was firm and solid, which I love. The toe box was short and fit my short toes perfect. This is so hard for me to find. If you have long toes, this shoe probably will not work for you. My only problem was my bunion was too big for the shoe to fit properly. I really hated to put them in the box to send back. A beautiful shoe!
