I have many Timbuk2 bags and this one is my favorite so far. The evolution of this bag has reached an amazing pinnacle with an aluminum quick release buckle on the shoulder strap, numerous pockets of just the right size, and the same rugged construction that I love in Timbuk2 products.

Gifted to my husband, and he loves his new bag.

I love this bag. It is ultra durable and lightweight. I am replacing one I bought 20 years ago. The old one is still okay it just has some tears and dry rotting on the inside lining but it is also still going and perfectly fine!

I missed out on the Black Friday deal as it was sold out locally, I got a similar much cheaper version but something told me the lifetime warranty plus the quality, padding of Timbuk 2 bag was worth it. Soon as it came back in stock in small size locally and black I got it. So many thoughtful features and the extra strap for running around.

This is my second Timbuk2 bag and it's as great as the first. It's so well made and is comfortable to carry. I bought it as a work bag but also plan to use it as a carry on for a Europe vacation.

Very comfortable bag. Perfect size. Only wish it had one exterior pocket for magazines. Better than any other messenger bag I own.

Quick and easy returns. Only returned because my dad gave me his old vintage timbuk2. Great quality bags that last!

The perfect flight bag. Been using one for years, xs. Fights files, water bottle, flight essentials for long journeys. Appreciate the lighter weight, every once counts! Can't go wrong!!!

What a great bag! I was expecting a serviceable bag, but this bag is far above serviceable. It has more nooks, crannies, pockets, and spaces than I was expecting. And in rust I'll never miss it in a crowd. I really like this bag.

I just received my new bag, and I love it as I have loved every bag I've bought from you during the last 20 years! When I was a student in the US I loved them, and now back home in Mexico I still buy them every time is needed.

Keeps my laptop and file secure thanks to straps. The way the strap adjust keeps it from flapping around on my back.

Perfect size for a 13 inch laptop. Enough room for power cords and accessories, but not so big there is a lot of dead space.

I thought I would never ever find a satisfying everyday bag again. Low and behold comes Timbuk2 along with this amazing Lightweight Flight Messenger Bag XS! OMG I am in bag heaven. I received it today. Unwrapped it and immediately had a big smile on my face. I am so happy with the product. It is well manufactured, the material is very sturdy and the liner provides safety for my everyday items in wet weather. I can't say it enough how happy I am right now. I LOVE my Timbuk2! I found myself a new forever everyday bag company. I believe in loyalty if it comes from both sides! Thanks Timbuk2 for making me happy again!

I got the M size and it's great for everyday use, I can carry all my essentials and still have room for more stuff. The most thing I really like about it, is the quality.

I love this bag, it's a perfect size, not too small, not too big, just right. The color is great. I really like the light weight material and the velcro closure.

I'm loving this XS bag so far. Perfect for walking around the neighborhood or taking the train. Also great on the bike for carrying essentials like phone, wallet, charger, book, water bottle, etc. I'm looking forward to taking this on some trips overseas and using it as a small daypack for touring around. Highly recommended.

This is my everyday bag that I use for trips out where I need to carry more than a few items that won't fit in my pockets. Used on a recent vacation where I traveled by train and car for one week. I was able to fit a lot into the small sized bag: wireless over-ear headphones in a case, Nintendo switch with detachable L&R controllers, Nintendo pro controller in a case, 11 inch Samsung tablet in a case, various odds and ends. The adjustable straps on the bottom allow for a snug fit and maximize or minimize space as needed. Adjustable shoulder strap is excellent, though it does "slip" if you don't close/tighten it just right. Velcro closure is great though a bit noisy. Interior pockets are good, but would prefer a large pocket over two pen/pencil pockets. Zippered pockets are a plus. I will likely use this for any bike rides that I take as the closures truly secure the contents. I tried the XS, but it was much too small for my travel needs - it would be good if I were carrying fewer or smaller items. Almost went with a M (medium), but it seems too big. It's well made and durable as far as I can tell. The thick material and craftmanship is immediately noticeable. This is the best messenger bag that I have found, hands down. I love the style- the granite/red is unique, bold, and has received compliments.

I used this bag for travelling by plane for summer conference and vacation. This bag is awesome, it's light and fits a 15 inch computer and small so that it fits also in my luggage.

I just got this bag and it's already my favorite for day-to-day use. Perfect for carrying basic essentials when I'm walking or biking around town: water bottle, book, wallet, phone, keys, spare reusable shopping bag and even a raincoat rolled up all fit neatly in here. Very lightweight but sturdy with a comfy cross-body strap. I've taken this out in the rain and it's performed well too, keeping everything inside dry on a short walk to the store. I'm planning to mostly use this for travel as something smaller than a standard carry-on that I can use when touring a city and don't need a giant backpack. Seems like it will be perfect for that.

I use this everyday as a day bag. I wish the strap was a tad longer but I manage just fine. I love the quality of this bag.

This bag is perfect! I am heading off to Europe and I needed a shoulder bag to carry my personal items such as cellphone, sunglasses, passport, etc. It is very cool looking and does not signal that I am a tourist. The robust shoulder strap and closures make it feel very secure.

I bought the Small size to try and get my laptop/notebook/pencils work stuff into as small and light a bag as possible. This bag is just right. Holds my small ThinkPad, along with a little notebook and some standard size papers and catalogs. Just enough internal organizer pockets for pencils etc. If you are looking to take tons of stuff around with you, this size might be frustrating, but if you value small/light over capacity, this can accommodate a decent amount of stuff while keeping it all small and light. As a bonus, this bag is small enough to fit with my clothes etc. in my duffel bag on flights while still fitting under the seat in front of me (a requirement for Standard Economy status).

Functional and good number of compartments. Good size. Durable.
