This bag would be perfect if it had another zip on the outside (there is room for its. I am a little disappointed in the quality. The tick rich quilted fabrics seem to be gone, and the linings are very thin. Mine also had a raw edge of fabric sticking out of the edge of the grommet hole. Either poor quality control or workmanship. With the cost of the bag, this is inexcusable. Purse would be perfect otherwise. Holds everything.

I have only been using Vera Bradley items for about 5 years and now have at least 25 pieces. The Glenna bag is my go to bag everyday. I have 10 of them. The pattern on this bag is really classy and I can use it with so many of my outfits. It is a nice size and has plenty of room for everyday purse essentials and more! I do not purchase bags unless they have pockets on the outside and this bag has two generous sized pouches. The strap is not intended to be a shoulder strap, however, I can carry the bag on my shoulder without it falling off. I do not like the drawstring addition added recently to this style as it just gets in the way and is not necessary. I wish Vera Bradley wouldn't mess with classic styles.

Using this product everyday. Love the look of the bag. Lots of compartments but I thought the inside middle part of the purse was going to be larger.

Even though the draw string broke the first time I touched it, I still love the size and the organization of the bag. Love the nice deep exterior pockets. Wish the lining material was heavier (actually wish they would go back to the quilted lining) but all in all, I really like the bag and will purchase another one. I cut the draw string, threaded through the grommets as a decoration - it no longer makes the bag smaller but that function was a non-player anyway.

I don't usually buy the same style of purses when I buy a new one, but I did with this one.

It's an everyday bag!

This bag is excellent in so many ways but that drawstring feature is a dud. The faux leather tabs that are supposed to slide up and hold it don't stay up. The actual drawstring on mine broke the first time I used the bag. I cut it, removed it, and cut it in half. Then threaded a piece through the holes at each end and tied in a decorative know so I would not have these empty grommets to look at all the time. If you would ditch that drawstring.....this bag would be totally perfect. Love having roomy but secure pockets on the outside so my keys are always an easy grab. From a 20 year Vera Fan.

I love colors, organization and lightweight, additional secret pocket is a great idea. The opening is bit too narrow, so putting in my notebook is challenging (still possible, but in older version it was easier)

I bought the tote first it was way too big for everyday but will be great for a vacation day out. Bought this for everyday and it works well but two more inches would be great!

I bought the sachel for my mother and the larger tote for myself. This is a perfect size for Mom.

I use this purse at least three times per week

Lovely purse, I was sorry to return but only due to color. I thought is would be more black and blue, but instead was all blue. Would work great if only used for casual

This bag only needs one thing to make it PERFECT.... Please add a few Credit Card slip pockets.

I really like the style and size of this bag. The color is darker than the pictures show, but it is still a beautiful color. The only problem I have is that this is the only Vera Bradley bag I have purchased that has a vinyl interior. It does cheapen in a little.

I love this design. Only thing I dislike is the fact that the zipper on top does not close the bag all the way. There is a gap at the end. Don't know why they did this. Other Glennas close completely. Also, the pull strings on the side serve on purpose.

Love the bag but really wanted something large enough to carry an iPad. Went on to purchase the small tote.

I somehow lost my purple small Glenna. I think it is in my house but I can't find it. I loved that little purse. I bought it many years ago. When I saw the word Glenna on the VB site I said I'm going to buy another one. When this one came in I was so excited. But it is big. My little one could fit right on my side in my wheelchair. It's too much of a problem to have someone bring it to the post office. I will just eat my purchase.

I love the Glenna Satchel and the Black Friday deals were fabulous, BUT, the picture looked like the background color was white. In reality, it is a light blue and, in my opinion, does not go with any of the colors in the print. The blues are not of the same hue and cheapens the overall appearance. Unfortunatetly, I will be returning this to a store. I'm hoping I can exchange it for a different print, because until I received the shipment, the "deals" were over. I'm not sure I will order from the website again unless I see the print in person beforehand.

the purse was so pretty, I'm so happy most of the reviews were positive. for me the straps were too short without being able to adjust them. i will highly recommend vera Bradly and just a little change would make a difference. i did return it but i will continue to search her beautiful bags.

this item, purchased on line without ever having a chance to examine it hands on, although beautiful, is disappointing in the amount of items it acutally can hold in an organized manner. I do not find the internal slip pockets secure enough to keep items secure and handy while walking around. The fabric is beautiful. wish some of the external products had a secure zipper.
