Love this bag I don't like the straps so it sits in the closet.

Very pleased with my purchase.

I've been carrying my Glenna Satchel for the past 4-5 months and am happy with the size, colors and interior pockets (great for holding my phone and other items to that need to be found quickly). The only issue was that the zipper pull fell off within a couple days of purchasing the bag - that was disappointing, but I substituted the piece of leather for some fabric that I happened to have available, which works fine.

Larger than I thought so I was iffy about keeping it. But found I could fit more than enough stuff in it. Well made

Plenty of room inside the purse, love the straps with the leather on them. Still not sure about the draw strings but I'm sure I will get use to that part. Love the colors!

Two Glennas have been returned due to stiched zipper tabs breaking off. Store replaced both of them

I bought this for my mom for mother's day, she likes going to movies a lot but she doesn't have a purse so I got her this one, it's cute. I hope she uses it. It does look kinda small in person maybe when she fills it in it would look bigger.

Not very roomy.

I mostly love this S-shaped bag. It's one of the best silhouettes I have ever purchased by Vera Bradley, as it isn't angular. I prefer this shape over the Factory Style Glenna. I generally carry this bag like a tote (I hold the straps), but when I wear the straps over my shoulder, the bag really does hang at the right height. The wider bottom nestles into the dip in my waist, instead of bouncing off my hips or rear. The faux leather reinforced strip is an appreciated design detail, as the straps always wear out before the bag itself. Lots of storage, a good size, and the Lavender Meadow print is gorgeous, with many shades of purple, rose and a hint of mint. I liked it so much, I just purchased another Glenna Satchel in Bordeaux Blooms. So why not 5 stars? The drawcord is a great idea, but the slide part is neither elasticized nor has any grip, so the cinched-in look does not last long, unless I am carrying next to nothing inside the bag. The (nylon?) lining makes a crinkly noise that I dislike and wish this bag had been lined with cotton. The pockets have no trim, there is no insert on the bottom for stability, and the straps are quite thin and floppy. This version of the Glenna Satchel is pretty looking but many design details that I love seem to have been economized. I worry this bag will not stand up over time.

Why did you change the handles? The original worked great, these slip off the shoulder very easily.

Love the design but it is too big. Would like to see this bag in a smaller size.

Love this purse but thought it would be more of a tote bag than a purse. It's too small for my intentions.

When I put my things in the purse it is still light to carry.

The Romantic Paisley pattern is very attractive, and the purse holds my large wallet, makeup case, 2 pairs of glasses, phone and can even hold a book and my 7-inch tablet at the same time, and there is still room. However, I feel a bit dwarfed by the bag and would like to see Vera come out with something between their mini-purses and their full-sized bags, perhaps by keeping depth close to what this purse has but somewhat lessen the height and width. I think the shape of the purse is more attractive with the drawstrings pulled, but the drawstring keepers don't hold well so the cinched-in look does not last long.

Very pretty paisley pattern. Attractive design, but not large enough for me. I would buy the Glenna Tote next time. It looks very similar but is a larger size!

I use this daily

This is my second Glenna. My other it's a few years old and the design is quite different. I prefer the older one that had contrast fabric on the outside instead of the solid pu and cotton details. I all also baffled by the addition of a drawstring. It serves no function, the purse has a zipper.

I bought this for myself. I love the quilted straps. It's my first Sachtel, I usually like the bowler type or triple zipper crossbody. This is a great bag, plenty of room. I like the pocket in front great for my phone. Pocket on back I use for Kleenex. No cons so far. I like the little strip of leather on Handles, makes it so they don't twist

The larger inside pocket is a little shorter than others I have owned since I carry a checkbook I like to put it in this pocket and I really have to work to get it in the pocket

don't have time 6 days before Christmas to do this

Love this bag, it's great for weekends when I'm out with my kids. It's not so big I feel like I'm hauling a heavy bag around, but not so small that I can't fit things like water bottles my kindle, etc. love the outside deep pockets the best. The only thing that it needed to get 5 stars would be a magnetic close.

I use this everyday. Plenty of room for the things I need for work and things that I may want for the grandkids.
