Fit and size both seemed a little large. Footbed feels comfy enough but the straps are not soft leather. They seem inflexible when adjusting the buckle and the back of them rubs my foot while walking. Will be returning. For the price this should be a perfect shoe...and it just ain't.

WAS LOOKING forward to these, but when I tried them on they were too wide and too long. I ALWAYS take a 38 in Berks but these were just too big and had to go back

First pair of Birkenstocks, and they felt like heaven for my plantar fasciitis, but the leather straps quickly got very streched out, and started to pull away from the shoe bed. Finally the elastic on the strap completely snapped. I am disappointed, as I expected to get much more wear out of them.

i ordered theses along with the Granada Soft Footbed. There was no comparison in quality. The Granada won hands down. This shoe was just an average shoe and should be sold for less money as the "leather" was stiff and seemed poor quality, not the usual Birkenstock quality. I kept the Granada's.

I usually wear a 37 in sandals, but these Lanas were too long. I used the Birkenstock chart to measure my feet, and was surprised to learn that I should wear 36 in Birkenstock. As others stated, the leather straps are very stiff (although I appreciate the 3 adjustable buckles) so I'm returning them. I preferred the cute style and softer nubuck comfort of the Birkenstock Lola in size 36, which fit well. I've worn a 37 in Arizona unisex with socks in winter, but I'm thinking I might try my next pair of Arizonas in 36 so I can wear them in summer too. In shoes/boots with a wool sock I'm usually 38 or 7-7 1/2 regular width.

Bought these in a 40, normally wear a 9 normal width. These were way too big for my feet.

These were way too big. And not narrow at all. Had to return.

This shoe was disappointing. I've had numerous Birks over the years, all the same size as this one but, as previously mentioned by some others it was shorter and narrower than anything else I've ever had from them. The shoe is attractive, but the sizing was definitely disappointing, so back it went.

Ugly and uncomfortable. My first purchase of this brand. I bought two styles. Tried them on for about 30 senonds, and said “no way.” Back to Zappos they go. FYI - fast delivery, easy returns. Zappos rocks.

I wear 39 narrow, but these ran short and the straps weren't long enough. Love the heel height, though.

Too big. Going back. Not the comfortable Birkenstock fit I'm accustomed to.

I have narrow feet and have always worn a 38N in Birkenstocks. The Lana was a completely different story- way too wide for my AA feet and overall the shoe felt almost a whole size bigger. I wish there were more current narrow styles to chose from for us slight footed women.

My primary concern is the materials used. The description says "supple premium leather". I assumed that meant soft full leather. The straps looked and felt like bonded leather with a fabric backing. I question if they will hold up the 5 plus years my Birkenstock Florida sandals have lasted. As far as fit, the footbed felt like typical Birkenstock. However the straps were too short. I have a high instep (my foot is higher than average) and these just wouldn't fit. Disappointed and hoping this isn't the direction Birkenstock shoes are going.

I should have read the reviews. The buckles were hurting my feet. Cheap leather was used unfortunately. These are not made by Birkenstocks.

The sizing was accurate. The straps/ upper felt very cheap and plastic like. The materials made me feel that these shoes weren't worth the $139.

Purchased in the gold and the straps actually look like they are made out of plastic. The arch hit me at just the wrong spot - seemed very far back toward the heel for me. These are going back. I LOVE my other Birkenstocks for their arch support and comfort, but these didn’t measure up.

Cheaply made, although not as cheaply made as another pair of Birkenstocks that I ordered at the same time. Have returned both pairs of shoes. Not at all worth the money. Looked like they came from a discount store. Seams on inside of ankle strap (of this pair) felt as though they would rub a blister after just a few steps. I was also disappointed in the shoes because they appeared to have been tried on and/or worn quite a bit. The ankle strap was crinkled as though by someone's ankle bending, and I could see toe-prints in the footbed of the shoe. Not a good experience this time.

I am often between a 36 and 37, and in these the 37 was too large. I will not reorder in 36 because the leather is very hard and I could tell would rub against my skin, and the footbed also felt very hard. I like the heel height though - they were tall enough to have a good heel to toe ratio (1" is ideal according to my dr), but they didn't feel like heels either. Sad they didn't work out!

My high-school age daughter loved these sandals, but the strap broke 11 months after we got them. They have been worn a lot this year, but at $130, I thought they would last multiple years. Disappointed.

Cute sandals. Very light. Smallest size which is 36, the site recommends that size for 5 to 5.5. It felt half size larger. If you need arch support and you are 5.5 the arch if going to feel off.

I didn't even try them on because when I opened the box and saw what appeared to be plastic instead of leather, I was immediately turned off. Not paying that kind of money for plastic shoes, no matter how comfortable they are.

I wanted to love these. They fit perfectly and are actually kind of cute...but then I took a step. There's a metal (?) piece on the inside of the strap that rubbed on my ankle bone (both ankles!) with each step. So sad but decided inevitable blisters are just not worth it. Maybe loosening the strap around the ankle would have helped but with my narrow feet the shoes wouldn't have stayed on.
