This bag is very well made. Great stitching. Plenty of pockets for organizing your weekend or boarding stuff.

I specifically order this bag because it had the trolley sleeve but then found the sleeve was too narrow to fit over my luggage handle, I could force it on when empty but it would not fit at all when packed. If I had know that the trolley sleeve was not going to work I would have purchased a tote bag instead.

This bag is very well made and sturdy for even rough and tumble use. Can pack what I need for a couple of days and I am ready to go!! Used this on a recent trip and even had room for souvenirs!!

This was my first piece of Vera Bradley luggage. Excellent size for a car trip or flight. An excellent travel accessory.

I have not used the bag yet I will be using it in July when we go away for the weekend so I will better know how it really is. when I saw it I liked it. It's big and looks like you could get everything you need in one bag if you are not going away for long. I am not sure if it will stand up because it was all foldedup when I got it and I could not get it to stay up. It kept folding back down when I let go.

The bag is much larger than I expected. The bottom is too wide for my laptop bag. As a consultant I travel all the time and this was just too big for my needs.

I purchased the Weekender in Marina Paisley and have used it for car trips for the past year. It pairs well with my rolling suitcases since one is blue and the other is red, and it has good interior pockets. I use it to pack toiletries, charging cords, bluetooth keyboard for ipad, makeup, overflow stuff. I have found that the easiest way to pack it is to unzip it completely and fold back the top flaps. This gives you access to the entire inner bag. However, this bag would not work for me for plane trips--too bulky and unstructured. Since I am short, I cannot see me carrying such a large shoulder bag thru the airport. I agree with the poster who requested a slightly larger Metropolitan.

If the bag had feet at the bottom for a bit of extra protection, the bag would get a five star rating.

I have one suggestion for the weekender.... I wish the front outside zipper compartment had a pocket or two sewn inside. Pockets that might hold my tablet/charger neatly in place or to hold some ID, maybe some cash cash or a lip gloss for quick access instead of having to go into the main compartment and digging through it. I have a travel bag made by Samsonite, it also has a front zipper pocket like yours and I love how it's organized! The Samsonite just isn't pretty like my Vera Bradly bags.

We do a lot of 2-4 overnight traveling. This is just great. I like the outside pocket for carrying any notebooks I have to take or any papers I have gotten from a meeting. Items seem to stay put in the inside pockets quite well.

I purchased the weekender in a pattern to match a couple of other smaller travel pieces I already had. I've already used it a few times and gotten some nice compliments on it. It's perfect for overnight use but I'm not sure it would hold enough for an entire weekend (though maybe I do tend to sometimes overpack). Overall I'm very pleased with the weekender bag and will use it for years to come.

I got this bag for my daughter in college. It's a great bag to use whenever she comes home for the weekend. I love the small compartments in the bag, too! I liked it so much that I ordered another weekender bag for other daughter, too!

I bought this bag to hold meds and a 17 laptop and iPad, as well as our other sundry items. Everything fit, with lots of room left over. The inside pockets are great. I couldn't give this 5 stars because the strap that fits over the handle of a carry-on rolling bag was VERY tight, and I,as well as the agent at check-in, had a hard time getting the bag off. This bag would be great for scrapbooking supplies for a crop as well.

This is a very useful bag for travel! Lots of pockets to organize for a trip. Very pretty fabric and it coordinates with my other luggage. I just wish the bottom was not woven fabric, wish it were a more durable material. That's my only complaint.

Got this for my mother in law for Christmas. When I got it in the mail, I was so pleased. They color is great and it is a great size for her and it looks like it will hold alot. She will be traveling alot next year so it will come in handy. I hope she like it

I have one of these in Ellie Blue, but wanted one that my husband could carry without feeling girly. Its soft sides allow it to conform to the airline requirements for carry-on luggage. I would recommend that Vera consider putting some type of leather or plastic reinforcements on the bottom corners to cut down on the almost guaranteed fraying that occurs on well-loved cloth bags.

I really like how much stuff I can fit in this bag and that it fits under an airplane seat, but I have one complaint... I find it difficult to carry. I have tried adjusting the strap many times to accommodate my height and stride,but it still feels awkward. The handle is not comfortable either if I want to just carry it in my hand. The bag does fit wonderfully on my luggage handle so I can just strap it on to the heavier luggage that rolls.

Works really well for a short weekend getaway. It's full of pockets, inside and out and will keep you organized. It's not big enough for more much longer than a couple of nights, though. (But it's called the Weekender for a reason)

I thought I could put a lot more in it than I actually could. I tried to pack a weekend full of stuff in the bag and most of it fit. I don't know if the bag is just small or I have. A lot of stuff. Overall it's a great bag for sleepovers or as an airplane carry on. It's also good for use as a sports duffel. I love this bag and it has many inside pockets for cell phones passports snacks ect. The adjustable strap is really useful and durable.

I just received this in Canyon and it's gorgeous! I've been needing a bag for overnight and weekend trips. I haven't actually used it yet, hence the 4 stars. It is VERY roomy and has plenty of space for a weekend get away. I'm visiting my sister in March for a few days and cannot wait to see what the Weekender's full potential is!

I wanted a travel bag and I picked this one up for my one night trip for New Years! I picked it out in the beautiful tutti frutti and loved it! I could put so much stuff in it and didn't need another bag until I tried to fit my robe inside. If you are just going somewhere for one or two nights, then obviously this bag is made for that, but its not meant for extensive stays anywhere. I love the strap and the fact that I could put this on a suitcase if I wanted to! Besides not being able to put my robe inside it, I love it!

This is a really cute bag in jazzy blooms. Love the pockets and its just the right size for air travel. I take it on all my trips and it always holds everything. Happy travels!

I bought this bag right before going back to college, and it holds SO MUCH! I live about 2.5 hours away from home so every time I go back to visit I try to stay as long as I can, and I can fit about 5 days of clothing and my cosmetics all in this bag. and the back side has a skinny pocket that's big enough and perfect to hold my 13' laptop! I enjoy this product very much
