This is my second pair of Rubber Soul (now have white and charcoal). They have almost identical style of classic Vans slip-on but are so much more comfortable from day one. The canvas is soft and the insole is more cushioned with better arch support. I have a very high instep, and the Vans felt tight across the top but the Rubber Soul never needed to be broken in. Would love them in suede for winter.

Nice looking, well-made canvas slip-on. For those comparing, the Taos Rubber Soul is larger in the toe box than the Taos Dandy, and I thought it ran more true to size. Can we talk about the arch support?!? There is an easily removable arch support insert that is as nicely made, and as supportive, as a separate insert you can buy at a running store. Wow. You could probably take it out and put in your custom orthotics in your regular size if you wanted. Very impressive.

I am so happy I purchased these shoes. I was going back and forth between these and Van. I need a bit of arch support and these are perfect. They are comfortable and so far no issues. I might get another color. I am a 9M and these fit well in the toe and heel.

Had to order up a half size. Fortunately the shoe did not get too wide at that point.

Nice slip ons. I’ve wanted some to replace Vans which never fit right. I have flat feet so the arch support actually feels weird when I slip these on, but actually helps when I’m on my feet for a long time. I’ve walked a couple miles in these already and no blisters or heel slipping.

I have a very high arch and instep, which means most “arch support” insoles don’t even touch. These shoes are amazingly comfortable and supportive, and don’t squish my instep. I bought them to replace Vans classic slip-ons that were tight across the top and always seemed to big or too small. These fit like a women’s shoe, and have room for socks, but still have the cute style of the Vans.

I love these so much that I ordered two pairs, in charcoal and pink. They’re incredibly comfortable and stylish. I can’t wait to wear these on my upcoming trip to Europe. I wanted the comfort of a sneaker without looking sloppy.

Nice quality shoe. I do love the Taos - every shoe I've tried on of theirs, regardless of whether or not they fit, has felt good. These were definitely on the short side though. I range between and 8.5 and 9.5 with narrow feet, and my toe jammed up against the edge on the 9's.

I so wanted these shoes to work for me, but sadly they did not. I tried my regular women's size 7. Far too tight in the front and toe box. However, the arch support was amazing. So I sent them back and ordered a half size larger. These felt a little bit better in the front/toe box, although they still didn't feel super roomy for my toes. If they hadn't slipped up and down in the heel when I walked (which would drive me crazy), I would have kept them in hopes of the front stretching out a bit. Zappos was great with the returns of both shoes, as always.

This is a canvas shoe with a heavy, rubber sole. The canvas itself does not provide much support, but the cushioned insole is terrific. However, even on my medium to wide-ish feet, this shoe was much too wide. Even with socks on, they were slipping at my heel. They have to go back.

Taos runs small for me so I ordered a 10 instead of a 9 or 9.5. The length was a good fit but the shoe was too wide and my heel slipped as I walked. If these come in a narrow, which I don't usually order, I would give them another try.

Perfect fit. Very comfortable to wear, starting on the first day. Would definitely recommend.

Love this shoe. Comfortable right out of the box.

Excellent shoe for my purpose which is walking as part of a job. I needed something casual but easy and stylish. The arch support and wide toe box are perfect for those with a bunion or who must wear orthotics. This one is removable if you to choose to use your own.

These shoes are great but I don't love the blue so back they go. I have several pairs of Taos Dandy and honestly I can't tell the difference. J

I love this shoe! I have high arches and I wear custom inserts in all my sneakers to protect my feet. It's hard for me to find shoes that I can wear for a long period of time that are comfortable without my inserts, but these fit the bill. They have nice support and are very comfortable on the inside to my naked foot. They go with everything and I find myself reaching for them often! Great shoe!

I have several pairs of star Taos, which I love. I normally wear a size 9 but I have found that Taos run a half size smaller (these included). Overall, these are super cute with great arch support. Definitely recommend!

Good looking, nicely padded and very comfortable summer slip-on with an excellent arch support. For people in-between sizes order up.

This was one of three pairs of white canvas shoes I bought for spring and summer, all from different brands and all with removable insoles to accommodate my prescription orthotics. I kept this pair and returned the others because it has excellent support (the other two pairs both felt very flimsy) and is very stylish. These did feel stiff when I first put them on, but that went away quickly. Extremely pleased with this purchase.

I vary between 71/2 and 8 in my shoes. I first ordered this shoe in an eight and it was too big, slipped up and down my heel when I walked. I returned them for a 71/2 and have been a little bit undecided. The fit is very snug, not much wiggle room in the toes. Arch support is excellent! I have a pair of Taos lace ups which are an eight and feel great because I can adjust the laces as needed. It’s my intent to keep these as I think they will loosen up a bit with wear. Cute shoe!
