These are very comfortable shoes but a bit heavy which is why I returned them. Prefer the Taos Dandy - I now have 2 pairs which are much lighter.

I ordered a 39- my regular size. They fit perfect everywhere except they my heels slid right out with every step! why does this happen?? I never have this problem. I wore them without socks so maybe that's it? I don't want to send them back because they are so awesome otherwise, but I guess I have to. So disappointing.

I really liked the shoes except the size 6 felt a little tight near the elastic. I had originally tried a 6.5 but my feet slipped out of the back. The Dandy in a 6.5 fit perfectly. I wished the Dandy had some of the colors that these have. I returned both in blue but kept a size 6.5 in pink and added a cushion to the backs of the shoes to keep them from slipping.

Loved these shoes but heel slippage made them a no go! So bummed to send them back.

I have a high arch and had a little trouble getting these on. As soon as I walked in them, my toes bumped up uncomfortably against the front of the shoe. Normally I wear a 7.5 or 8, and ordered these in an 8, thinking they would be roomy enough. Unfortunately, they are going back. But Zappos makes it so easy to find the right shoes in the right size. Thanks, Zappos!

Loved the look of these on. But this might be my last Taos try on. Their footbed doesn't hit my arch in the right places. If it does yours, you're in luck because it's super cushy and supportive. Custom orthotic did not fit any better. Returned.

I was looking for a Van's type of slip on shoe, but with more arch support. These were almost perfect, but still missed the mark. I ordered size 7 which rubbed uncomfortably on my heel. I was afraid 7.5 would be too loose though. I have the Taos Star in 7.5. They are bit loose on me, but the 7's were way too tight. They have decent arch support.

I have a high instep and arch so despite the elastic sides it was a VERY tight fit. Struggled to get my foot in. I'm usually a 8M or 8W and tried their size 8. Very cute style but they are going back. :(

I've been searching for a slip on canvas sneaker with arch support and thought I found the perfect sneaker with the Rubber Soul. I first purchased a women's size 6.5 and it was too tight across the front of the shoe. I sent it back and ordered the size 7. It was still a snug in the front and slipped up and down in the heel when I walked, clearly too long. I considered keeping the 7s in hope that the front would stretch out a bit after wearing them a few times, but the floppy heel made me reconsider. This is not a shoe for someone that needs a roomier toe box, but the arch support and cushioning were great. Zappos was so easy to make the returns on both pair of shoes and I may keep trying to find something that will work.

These shoes are so cute and I want to like them, but they slip off the back of my heel. I originally ordered a 9, as that’s what I’ve worn in other Taos shoes, but they were too big. The 8 1/2 is a touch too small. It’s like I need an 8 3/4. Sadly, I will be returning them.

Very cute shoes but my fussy feet rejected them because they felt a little tight in the toe.

Very cute. Comfortable until I walked and my heels were slipping. Returned for a 1/2 size smaller and my heels were still slipping. Returned those as well.

I am sending these back because although what I was looking for they are tight across the top of my foot and I can feel my toes push against the end. I have several Taos and I wear a 7.5.

These shoes were too tight for my foot. I have a slight high arch but were surprised at how tight these felt. I usually wear a 7.0 or 7.5 and bought the 7.5. They felt so tight. Also, didn't seemed very still.

I thought I had hit the jackpot with these - I have a bunch of foot problems (flat feet, bunions, plantar fasciitis) and these were comfortable right out of the box and didn’t cause me any pain! Love the arch support and roomy inside. Very cute style which is so hard to find when you have feet issues. However, I’ve had them for just a few months and they’re not holding up well. I have keds that I’ve worn for 3+ years that look better than this. The stitching is coming apart in one shoe in a spot that’s making it too loose and now causing heel slip / plantar fasciitis flare up in that foot. The rubber is also pulling away in areas where it the shoe bends. I’m super bummed because I otherwise love them. I hope the issues can be addressed in manufacturing because I so badly need a brand of shoes like this!!

5 stars for style. They were great in the length but they fit like aunisex shoe - a very wide heel. Had to send back because my for slipped out Also, there's a raised arch, which could be very uncomfortable for some.

Very uncomfortable. I love Taos sandals, but these just do not work.

I feel like it cramps my toes. I may have to return them as I have only worn them around the house.

for people with pointy back heels like me, these shoes are not for you! they gave me blisters on my heel *immediately*.
