I love these shoes. My foot is rather wide with a narrow heel even though I wear a medium width. The shoes fit me just fine although they were a bit wide on my narrow heels. I laced them tight & solved this problem. The arch support is the best I've ever seen in a sneaker. The neutral greenish-greyish color (sage) goes with so many things. I would highly recommend.

I had almost given up on this style of shoe because most of the time they are flat-bottomed (think Vans skate shoes, Converse, etc), therefore providing zero support. While a person can always add third-party inserts to any shoe, the fact that this shoe provides its own insert is pretty awesome and assures the insert fits properly. As other reviewers have indicated, if you think you will leave the insert in the shoe, you probably want to buy a half size bigger than you usually wear (I wear 9.5, bought 10, they're perfect). I'm a teacher and therefore stand all day long -- these shoes are fantastic and worth every penny. I loved them so much I'm buying another pair in a different color!

These are much softer and comfortable than the Plim Soul and much more comfortable than my Converse. I wore them a full day with no rubbing, blisters, etc. For size reference: I wear a 6 1/2 M in Nike with a small amount of toe room and the 6 1/2 Moc Star fit me the same way. It also comes with 2 different colored laces so you can change them up.

This shoe is super cute, stylish and looks well made. However, the footbed is made for those who need superior arch support and metatarsal support. I have high arches, but this support is too much for me. I would highly recommend this shoe for those who are used to wearing German made shoes.

Love this shoe! I have narrow feet, and typically will run a 9.5 or a 10 depending on the brand. I had to order an 11 but it fits me perfectly. I would say that for most this shoe will run narrow, as it fits me perfectly and I don't need to cinch up the laces like I usually do with most shoes. Great style though and very happy with the arch support ( I have Plantar fasciitis). I was torn between the sage and the indigo, but the sage has a more "distressed" look that I wanted, so I went with that one!

I bought these in distressed red and they are very cute! They will need a bit of breaking in, because they are a little stiff, but they have a lot more arch support than I was expecting, which is a plus. Looking forward to these becoming a favorite weekend sneaker.

I love Taos. I usually get the Star, but decided to try the Moc Star. I'm so glad I did! I usually wear a size 10 and my foot is average to a little wide. I purchased the 10 and they were perfect. The sage is a very neutral color. I am able to wear these with or without socks without any problems at all.

I normally wear a size 6 and I did read several reviews that said they needed a half size bigger. I ordered my normal size 6 and it was a bit tight. Exchanged for a 6.5 and they're perfect! Love them, the look & they're very comfortable.

Ordered the MOC Star in my usual size and also in a half size larger after reading the reviews. I did go with the half size larger as the arch support seemed to be more comfortable. The arch support feels great and supportive and was the reason that I went with the Taos over other similarly styled shoed because it felt much better with my plantar fascitis issues. Got the sage distressed color and think that is a great neutral - especially for the fall.

I love these shoes! Since hurting my back last spring, I have been working on overhauling my shoe collection to provide more support and shock absorption for my body. Unfortunately, I have had to give up some style for comfort and have been searching Zappos high and low for something that would be cute but also good for my back. These are it! I have a narrow foot and I understand what other reviewers are saying about the tight fit. I need a lot of arch support so I like the insole, but it does make the front of the shoe tight fitting. I didn't think they would work but all I had to do was loosen up the laces to give the top of my foot more room. You could take out the insole and put in your own, though, if needed. Overall, super cute and supportive!

These shoes are adorable - I ordered 1/2 size up and they are a tiny bit too small but I am keeping them - hoping they will stretch out a little as I wear them. Look great and good quality.

These babies arrived yesterday (indigo distressed), and it was love at first fit! I have wide & flat feet, but I love me some sneakers--especially as fall approaches. The arch support is a little crazy when you first put the shoes on, but after some wear, they mold to your feet comfortably. I'm really impressed with the quality! Soft canvas, sturdy soles, supportive removable insole, and 2 sets of laces (blue & off-white). (The only down-side is that they squeaked like crazy on my tile floors. Today, after having worn them outside a few times, the squeak is gone and I'm relieved!) These will go great with jeans, leggings, shorts, capris, or skorts. Perfect casual shoe that matches everything!

I responded to a message re how these shoes fit: too big, too small or perfect. I said perfect. However I wanted to clarify. They are perfect because I ordered a half size larger. I may return though for another color.

As others have stated, these run small. I usually wear a size 9 and sized these up to a 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis for about three months and these are THE most comfortable shoes I've found so far. NO PAIN. They're also super cute! Love them!

I have wide feet and high, crashing arches. I teach, so I’ve spent the last 3+ months barefoot or in flip-flops. I dreaded going back to “real shoes” until I received these shoes! Very comfortable, good support, and I think I can get away with wearing them to lecture.

I absolutely love these shoes. I usually wear 10.5, but I size up to 11 in Taos. I have a wider forefoot and a regular heel. These shoes fit me perfectly and are very flattering. My feet don't look huge, and the lines are both elongating and minimizing. I am a huge fan of Taos, and these are one of my favorites.

Comfortable, and cute. No heel /ankle rubbing - even without socks. Truly a great pair of well made, solid shoes.

Love these!! I followed the suggestions and sized up .5, and the fit perfect. Great comfort and support. I purchased these for a trip to Europe and think they will work great for lots of walking. Getting lots of compliments too!

Wow, like all the reviews said they have excellent arch support for such a cute shoe. I wore on my 12 hour shift right out of the box and they were awesome. My job doesn't require me being on my fee that 12 hours, but still wearing a bad shoe for that length of time can be bad. Due to Plantar Fasciitis finding cute shoes with great arches is hard to do! Going to get another color.

I'm a upset because I was so excited to get these shoes and when I got them the outside of the box said, "defective".....

Some reviews said this shoe runs small, but I ordered my regular size and they fit fine. There is a LOT of arch support, so if that’s not what you’re looking for, you won’t like these shoes. I love the style and may get them in another color.

Loved the comfort, style, and color of these shoes...……. Unfortunately I had to return them because one shoelace was 3" shorter than the other...… so .......... will reorder another pair
