I purchased two colors of these shoes for our trip to Italy. The arch support is outstanding, so I didn't need to take my hiking boots for all the walking we were going to do. Right out of the box, they were comfortable and did not require any breaking in. By the end of the day, my feet still felt good and I have been most pleased with their performance. As I have bunions and high arches, I was unsure if they would be comfortable enough, but they have been great.

I wear an 8 Wide, that's what I ordered, and it fits perfectly. And they're cute, too!

After reading the reviews on this shoe, I made the purchase. They were SO right. This is the most comfortable shoe for this style I have ever worn. Out of the box comfort....I am in love. I have a wider foot and a very high instep. I didn’t even order a wide width and they are awesome. This is one groovy shoe. I’m buying in more colors.

These are so cute!! They’re super comfy!! I was a bit nervous they would rub, but they don’t at all. They’re true to size. I’m So glad I bought them!!

I tried 4 different models of Taos. Two went back, I kept two. This one is my favorite. It is a very nice change from a traditional athletic shoe. The toe is a bit wider than the other Star models which makes it much more comfortable. The insert has a nice arch support which I need after multiple foot surgeries and falling arches. I wouldn't wear them on a hike, but they are great for traveling and general sightseeing and walking around. I love the blue indigo color and the laces to match!

I couldn't be happier with these shoes! They are adorable and super comfortable right out of the box. I normally wear a 9 1/2 in dress shoes and a 10\10 1/2 in gym shoes so I ordered a 10 in the Taos. They fit perfectly. I walked quite a ways in them from the first day and no blisters or discomfort. Thanks for a comfy, cute shoe!

These fun and comfortable sneakers are perfect for wearing with jeans or other casual pants and sun dresses. I am wearing them a ton this summer and am thinking about getting another color. I am super careful of my footwear because of a long history of plantar fasciitis so the supportive foot provides good support.

I usually wear mens 7, ladies 9. But after reading through some of the reviews I decided to size up. 91/2. They were big, slide up and down on my heel. So i ordered a 9. They fit me nicely. But needed to send both pair back. Will order another pair for keeps. Shoes look nice, feel good but run big! Insert is nice and thick. Cushy. Gel? Would definitely recommend. They remind me of my converse.

These are my favorite sneakers! Followed other reviewers suggestions to go up half a size and also went with a wide width (normally I’m a medium) and that worked for me! I have been struggling with plantar fasciitis and must have arch support in my shoes - so wonderful to be able to wear sneakers again! I will say I love Taos brand but their sizing is always weird from shoe to shoe, so don’t expect a perfect fit the first time. Thanks so much Taos and Zappos!

Great shoes! I ordered a half size larger as recommended. These are not quite as comfy as my Star Burst Taos, but a close and cute second. Best sneakers for my picky feet.

Love the Sage color, goes with all of my outfits. Comfortable the minute I put them on and the shoe appears to have a very sound structure. Definitely worth the money.

These were a great walking shoe for my trip. I wear a size 9 and ordered a size 9 and they fit perfectly. I enjoyed the wide option for extra comfort. I wore them all weekend and they never bothered me. I also didn’t have to wear a full sock and I had no issues with them rubbing on my heels. Highly recommend!

These shoes are cute and comfy. They are nice and wide- I need that, and the arch support is excellent, I need that too. I love the sage green. I'm going to wear them around the house for a bit to break the canvas in. It feels fine on my low maintenance foot, but my high maintenance foot is a little irritated around the big toe joint. I think the canvas just need to soften up. I'm pretty excited about them.

My daughter normally wears an 8.5 Wide (sometimes double wide). She went with the 9.5 Wide, even though they are still a little too narrow. But she really likes them and thinks they are comfortable and stylish.

I love the distressed blue Moc star, but they didn't work for my foot. The shoe fits perfectly without the supportive inset, but I want the inset. With the inset, my heel is raised, and that causes my heel to rub on the shoe. In addition, the width was too narrow with the inset. Without the inset, it was fine. I so wish I could wear these shoes because if they fit they would be a great walking shoe. They are also much more attractive than the average walking shoe.

Love this shoe and will order again. Arch support is fantastic.

These shoes are surprisingly comfortable. They are so cute I took a chance, even though I have fussy feet. I have a narrow heel, wide instep and high arch. These shoes stay on my heel, are not too narrow, and the arch support is impressive. I love the color and the style and the optional contrasting laces. At 68, I need a comfortable shoe, but still want something stylish. If I have any complaint, it is that the toe box could be a little bigger. My big toes curl up a bit and rub on the shoe. If I wear a thin sock, this will not be an issue. Also, I think the fabric will stretch out a bit. A pleasant surprise!

This is a great little sneaker! Very comfortable from the start. I purchased the white and they look great with t-shirt dresses!

these shoes run extremely small ! Usually wear a 7 1/2 and read review so went up to an 8 when I received the shoes they were too small . Back they go but ordering the 8 1/2 as shoes have the arch support I need and feel so comfy
