Painful material around the toe area

These were not in original packaging and were clearly worn a significant amount and gold leather was really scuffed up. Returned.

I love these sandals so much. I bought them again a year later. The black strap across gave me a blister to start, but once they broke in, I practically lived in these shoes. better than berkenstock. So comfortable with arch support. And they look stylish with the metalic elements. I even wear them out dancing.

I wore a similar style of Mephisto many years ago but these fit narrower in the ball of my feet, the widest part. I have medium width feet but these mediums were too narrow for me. Also, I don't care for patent leather, which these are, and I wouldn't have ordered them had I known.

I love Mephisto sandals but they are very stiff. Love the flowers though

There was something very wrong with the finish on these shoes. They had marks all over them. Kind of looked like pink marker. Love the style, not the quality control.

Mephisto has obviously replaced their leather with a cheaper, much stiffer leather. It cuts into my foot...I am so disappointed! I have been wearing the Helen style for 15 years, but will have to stop. Too much pain!

Really wanted to like these sandals - all previous negative reviewers were on target imo. My experience: leather was rigid & harsh, shoe was off size or mis marked or just wrong. Not for me for sure. Thong (big toe opening) was off kilter for my foot ... not sure why that was so. No opinion regarding arch (& Mephisto has a great rep in that department) since could not evaluate.

I've loved Mephisto products for years, unfortunately these sandals really disappoint. The leather is very stiff and if I wore them more than 15 minutes, I would have blisters between my toes! Sad,,,,,

These shoes didn't fit at all. Another pair of sandals a size smaller from a different maker fit perfectly. Very disappointed
