I am ALWAYS a size 9. They were huge! I ordered 8 1/2 and still had to put those heel inserts in the back. The heels are loose and I am a very average size 9. Other than that, LOVE.

These are beautiful shoes though they do run large, at least a half size large. That would be OK, but my heel kept slipping out. Too bad because they looked sharp and were comfortable otherwise. Had to return.

I loved these shoes, Unfortunately, I have issues with my pinky toe on my left foot, so it hurts alittle, hoping that the shoes will stretch so I will have more room for my left shoe

Cute casual shoe but runs quite wide.

I am normally a 9.5 M, but bought this in a 9M and it fits fine. Good toe box, plenty of room, no slips in my heel when I walk, comfortable and stylish. Work appropriate, and enough rubber on the bottom to avoid wet shoes and feet when it rains.

Great shoe, runs 1/2 size large.

I really wanted to like these but they just ran a little too wide. They might work with a thicker sock, but not thinner socks.

The shoe is adorable and I received 5 more compliments than the blisters I came home with the first day I wore them. I'll try inserts. Now they are mine since I wore them, but really rubbed wrong as the shoe really isn't sized like other FS shoes.

Excellent shoe! Needed something flat and a little dressy. I'm a woman of a certain age thay can't wear heels all night. These did the job. The only reason I returned them os because I found them less expensive on another site. I still have a pair in my wardrobe that will get great use!!

These loafers are so cute I'm disappointed they didn't work for me. I'm normally an 11, sometimes a wide width, sometimes not. These definitely felt a half size too small. And I did notice that they were a little loose in the heel, as others have mentioned. I loved the look of them, though!

Shoes are very comfortable and stylish. Highly recommend!

Wrote a review for this shoe before but want to update with a review on size 6. Received shoe today and determined overall sizing is off. A 5.5 is 22.5 cm--when you look the measurement up on the size chart, 22.5 cm is a size 6. I had reordered in a size 6 and calculated that I would go up half a centimeter. So, a 6 would be like a 6.5 or 23 cm. I was hoping that would be enough room for socks--ended up with more room. I would tell you that a 6 had fitted better than 5.5 since I had to jam my foot in the shoe. I was already warned by a reviewer but just had to see them myself. The sizing is really off. These might not be the perfect shoes but they are cute. They are a bit room for a size 6 but I would be wearing socks. Also compared with another loafer in my order the quality is better and platformed give heels support. Although these are not perfect I'll be keeping them as I'll be wearing with socks. Round toes on these give a business casual vibe.

I bought the Pewter. Beautiful shoe with great detail! This shoe runs a little narrow and is a little stiff until you break them in. I would recommend ordering 1/2 size lager if you have medium or wide feet and use thick socks and wear them around the house to break them in. I get many compliments on this shoe. The color goes with so many colors of my work slacks, as well as jeans. The lug sole is a great plus for fall. They are super cute - they just need a little work shaping them to your feet.

Depending on the shoe, I fit either a size 5.5 or 6. I had decided get these in a 5.5 since they came in half sizes. I had a difficult time getting my foot in the shoe--the opening was narrow--once I put on the shoe the fit was snug--and that is only without socks. I had experimented with thin socks and they feel tight like my feet could not move around and when they did, I had felt the shoes were going to damage my feet. The material used to make the heel of the shoe is hard but I have seen heels made of cheap hard plastic that clicks when walking--these are not bad but quality can be better considered the price. I want to wear these with socks so going to reorder for a size 6. I do not recommend these if you have wide feet because the width is standard. For reference, a size 5.5 is 22.5 cm according to the outside of the box. I want to wear these with socks so going to reorder for a size 6 but I hope they are not as big as some of the reviews had mentioned... I would be bummed... they are super cute.

I was pleasantly surprised at how light these shoes are. Wasn’t expecting that at all. I found them to run slightly large. They slip a little on my heels. But probably my biggest complaint is a clicking coming from the right shoe when I walk. I imagine it has something to do with the patent leather, (or maybe not), but it’s very annoying. But I love the shoes...I can’t help myself! Love my Franco’s!!!!

I always like a "C" shoe (now usually called wide) if possible. When not available I order a half size larger. That doesn't mean all size 10s are the same. I wanted a show that I could wear with med-light weight socks. These work. ( think a 9 1/2 W would be to small.) There is a small amount of slip in the heel, yet wearing socks or smart wool footies, the slip was negligible. I might try adding an arch support and believe the shoe is sufficiently roomy to accommodate one. I received compliments on the first day wearing these shoes.

I loved the look of these shoes, but walked out of the heels. Sad to return them.

Overall these are very smart looking shoes and length is true to size. They seem a bit narrow but perhaps because I have a high arch. I am undecided about returning as they may stretch a bit with wear. Need to try them on a couple more days to decide.

I agree with other reviews that these run big. I normally wear a 5.5 and the 5 fits fine. I won't wear these until the fall, so can't speak to the comfort, but they seem to have decent support. They are a bit stiff, but patent always is.
