I continue to be frustrated with Born sizing. I've bought two pair of Born sandals in the last year that are almost unwearable because they run so large. These, however, ran a bit small. I'm a true 10, and these were just snug enough to be uncomfortable. As others have stated, the stitching on the sole is irritating (even in my five minute try-on), and the soles, while padded, are extremely thin, so I worry they won't be comfy or supportive for walking. The sandals also feel of lesser quality than other Born sandals, with unfinished leather edges. I'm not a fan...going to return them and try something else! I wish Born would apply some quality control to its sizing, or at least start offering half sizes so customers have more options when the sizing is off.

Straps were all too loose . Not able to tighten velcro strap as needed.

Much smaller than expected. I am usually a 9, and in this shoe 10 was too small.

Too narrow

I really wanted to love these so badly!!! I got them in a 9 which is my normal size and the straps were so so tight. I returned and ordered them in a 10 hoping for looser straps. Still they were so tight. My foot is not fat but I guess it is too chubby for these shoes. Also was looking for more arch support than these gave. They were padded which was nice but after more than a couple of hours in them my feet would've been hurting. I do have plantar fasciatis. If you don't and your foot is comfortable under the straps they are adorable sandals.

I like everything about this shoe except for the placement of the closure. The horizontal closure strap rubs on the tiny bones at the base of the ankle. I know that would be annoying (and probably painful) with all the walking I plan to do at Disney World, so these sandals --sadly-- are going back to Zappos.

The sandals were pretty but too narrow for my feet. I usually wear a 9 in the Born shoes.

These were very comfortable and very cute, but I returned them because they were a little too wide in the toe area and I was worried they'd give me blisters. Awesome customer service on the return though--only took a day to process!

I do not wear a narrow width, but these shoes were too wide for me and my feet kept slipping around in them as I walked. Had to return them.

These sandals were super cute but did not fit as I expected. Usually, Born fir me right out of the box. However, these felt off for some reason. The length and width seemed ok but they felt like 2 different sandals. One seemed longer than the other and there was no way I could comfortably wear them. It might have just been an off pair of sandals, although they were marked the same size. I did return them and purchased a different pair.

I loved the color and the style, but I agree with a lot of the reviewers: The stitching on the footbed is uncomfortable. Why did they go there?? It's such a shame. Otherwise, I would have kept them.

The seems in the sole are just too rough

Born usually makes good quality, comfortable footwear, so I was surprised these felt poorly made and uncomfortable. Most of the footbed is a padded nylon-ish fabric. However, it's outlined with leather edging and where the fabric meets the leather, the leather is really picky.

I’m an 8.5 and I tried both the size 8 and size 9. The 8 was too small, and the 9 actually fit fairly well once it was actually on my foot. However, it was such a pain to get on! The straps were really tight to try to get my feet into. Once on, there’s stitching right where your toes hit, which I imagine would be quite uncomfortable after walking for a long time. I found the feeling irritating after just taking a walk around the house.

Leather was nice and soft, but the shoe had very little support.

Now that Merrell sandals are so poorly made, I was hoping to wear a Born. Love the style and soft leather straps. I wear a nine and these were too small. A half-size would fit. As other reviews mention, the stitching on the insole is problematic. My feet immediately chafed at the rough texture. Others have mentioned the new fabric insole. Perhaps Born needs to fundamentally change their insole for 2020. Then they might have a new customer!

The insole was very uncomfortable. The stitching made it feel like I had something in my shoe! Also, it was slippery, causing my foot to move around, which I know would lead to blisters. Otherwise I like the sandal. A 9.5 in Sperry or Keds fits me perfect. I took a 10 in the Trinidad and it was a perfect fit.

These seemed very narrow, so they just didn't fit my feet. I have always worn a Medium width and that is what they were marked.

The style was great, and I really wanted to like these, but they squished my toes. I love the footbed of these sandals -- it seems like they'll hold up well with real-life wear and tear. The soles were very cushion-y. I really needed either a half size up or a wide, but this sandal only runs in regular and full sizes. I've ordered the next size up.

I should've listened to other reviewers. The footbed of this sandal was scratchy and I could feel every seam and all of the textured dots. There's no way I could wear this sandal. It fit well otherwise.

Good for folks who have wide feet up front. I give up. I can't find a single sandal this season to fit my poor narrow, small feet.

These just look odd when they are on the feet and they feel odd.

The photos suggest these sandals are sturdy, that the leather is somewhat stiff. This is not the case. Although comfortable, these are very flimsy shoes and much cheaper looking than the photos indicate. Not worth the cost.

These are so cute, and they would be so comfortable without that horrid mesh under the ball of the foot. My feet are raw from it. Cannot wear for any extended amount of time that I may be walking. Major and expensive disappointment

Sloppy soft straps let my foot slide side to side at the heel. Too bad because nice mushroom color and looks good on the foot but-Nope. Headed back.
