The shoe was so narrow I couldn't get it on my foot. I don't understand it because I have other Born shoes in my closet and they fit fine.

This sandal is exactly what I wanted. I have had similar by Born in the past, however this shoe was way too tight in the strap width around the front of my foot. I do not want to take a chance on it not stretching enough, so I am returning. I am a pretty firm 6 medium in sandals and many other shoes if wearing no thin footies or socks. So I was certain it would fit and used my cash credits unfortunately. I am considering taking a chance and ordering the size 7 since this sandal was almost too short in length. The leather and mesh foot padding rubbed the middle of my toes, which actually was not comfortable, but I would have kept the shoes in spite of that if not for the narrow width.

The problem with this shoes was that the strap buckle hit the ankle bone.

These sandals are MUCH narrower than all my other Born footwear of the same size; straps were WAY too tight. I was quite disappointed, as I really liked the style! Also NOTE: in person the brown color is darker than in the photo. Sadly they had to go back.

Had an older pair of these in a half size, 6.5, that fit perfectly. These were Size 6 and not as cushy and comfortable as the last pair that I had for about 10 years. I think a Size 7 would be too long for my feet, so I'm returning them.

The shoe is not true to size. I am in between sizes of 9.5 and 10. I always buy a 10 and almost always the shoe is a tad bit big. This sandal is very narrow and not a true 10 in length. Feels more like a 9. So disappointed since I loved every pair I ever bought in the past. Haven't worn Borns in years due to their style not being a good fit for my wardrobe, but now that I dress more casually, I was looking forward to my old favorite. Unfortunately their sizing does not work for me.

I have a very average to narrow size 8 foot, and these definitely ran short and felt narrow. That said, the footbed was very comfortable and these seemed like they’d be great for everyday wear if they were long enough. Style was a little on the frumpy side and the leather was more distressed than I might prefer - but this is a matter of taste and not quality.

These look great and are comfortable and offer good support. However, with every step my toes hit the stitching between the sole bed and the front trim, and it's quite irritating.

I love Born! I own several pairs of Born sandals and usually wear 6 or 6.5M. These are super cute but sizing is poorly done. They are sooo narrow. I ordered the 6M (didn't come in half sizes) and they fit length wise but were so narrow. My feet were being squeezed so hard there is no way wearing them would have broken them in. I had to return these and could not purchase a different pair as wide width was not offered in this style. On the plus side, the materials were high quality and the shoes seemed to be constructed well and durable. I would recommend buying if you have narrower feet.

Great style, but the straps really cut into my feet - very uncomfortable shoe!

This is almost a very comfortable sandal. Unfortunately, the seams in the footbed bothered me immediately, and I think the way the straps hit my little toes would have chafed if I walked any distance, so I'm returning them. It's too bad. They seem well-made, and they are good looking.

These shoes fit exactly what I was looking for in appearance, they are just casual enough I could wear with sporty look or cute. The down side is they were way too long and the seam in the footbed is uncomfortable. I would go down a size and try if it weren't for the seam, that is just a pain to deal with. All of that aside they felt very cushioned and so I'm sad they didn't work.

These are very attractive but the fit is odd. I needed a half-size larger for the width but the length was of course too long. I am returning. I really want the Earth origins Belle Bentley which fit me like a dream in 6.5 but they seem to be out of stock.

I originally ordered a 7, it was way narrow so I exchanged for an size 8, so sorry but although the width was better the shoe is just to long, Now the strap around the ankle will not adjust small enough and cuts under the ankle bone, I will have to return. I feel that the shoe just runs on the narrow side.

Last year I ordered this Born Trinidad shoe in black and was so thrilled by the fit, comfort & quality that I decided to now order it in brown. To my dismay the brown shoe has a mesh, woven fabric footbed instead of the full leather footbed of the black version and as my soles are very sensitive I just could not tolerate the mesh. So sad am I as I had to return them. Happy though that Zappos has an incredible return policy!

Just okay. The footbed has a soft mesh covering that transitions to leather at the heel - I found the border between the two to be bothersome. Also, the corner area below the big toe felt and looked like it was squeezing my foot out of the opening. Had to return.

I agree with the other reviews about the stitching. Very uncomfortable. What happened to the most comfortable sandals?

I felt these run at least a size small, while I don't have to buy wide width shoes, my foot is not narrow, and these were VERY tight.

I did not like how you could feel the stitching in the sole under your foot. It felt like your toes were hanging over the stitching and it felt scratchy under my foot. Born should have brought the stitching all the way to the edge of the sole.

This is a good looking sandal and just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, it was very wide for my (9B) foot and there are no straps to adjust width at the front of the shoe. The arch support was less than what I typically look for in a shoe.

I would have liked to keep these shoes, unfortunately the straps felt a little loose without being able to make them tighter. Also the foot bed was a little on the narrow side and has 2 different kind of materials which made my foot feel uncomfortable

I purchases these specifically to do a lot of walking in. These shoes are attractive enough and would likely have been comfortable to walk in if the velcro strap didn't come so high that it is right below the ankle which was not comfortable. I was hoping to wear these walking around Italy and Spain but there was no question I couldn't tolerate where that strap hit my ankle.

I love the shoe - but I guess Born has adjusted there sizes - the 7, my usual size with them, I'm a 7.5 was way too tight so I didn't even attempt the 8. too bad.

These are super cute and have a lot of cushion, which I need, but my sensitive feet couldn't tolerate the stitching all over the footbed. They are very comfortable except for the stitching. It rubbed on the balls of my feet within a minute and I know it would eventually rub me raw. Sadly, I have to return them. I wear a 7.5M and I ordered the 7 and they fit perfectly in length, and a tiny bit snug in the width, but I think they would stretch out a bit after wearing and be perfect. I wish they would make these without the stitching all over the footbed. I can tolerate stitching on the outer edges, but not all over the footbed. If the soles of your feet aren't sensitive, these shoes would be great for you. I really wish I could wear them.
