Hi! I bought this in the light gr for my daughter. She is about 5'61/2 and 128lbs. Athletic build and 32b chest. The medium was the right fit. We ordered both a L and M and by far the M as the L was clearly big and arms too long! The style and length were the appealing factor in selecting. It's a nice weight too. The thing that prevents me from going 5 star across the board is that the front placket has snaps, which is fine - they are great - but the exterior material is not pure fabric in feel, there's a coating to it, if you will. Almost a plastic/repellant type feel which is similar to other raincoats I've had and it's great. It's just the snaps are pretty tight when you snap them and I can foresee that the material surrounding the snap may tear. I sure hope not though because it really is a nice style and fit.

I usually wear an XS in all over clothes brands. This fit OK, but the body fit is very narrow and left little room for wearing a sweater or feeling comfortable. The sleeves are also on the long side. The gray color is lighter than it looked on the website. I am returning to see if a size small feels more comfortable.

Returning it , sleeves too long , folding with that shape of sleeves does not look good .
When I pay full price for jacket/coat expect to be close to perfect , this is not .

I was looking for a mid length rain jackets and stumbled upon this. I've owned other north face rain and this material is definitely thicker and better than the other ones I've owned. As previous buyers mentioned, the sleeves do run long. Zipper is also not very smooth and can be hard to put up sometimes. There is no waist adjuster so it doesnt give you any form. However the jacket does serve its purpose. It's great for spring weather. For reference I am 5' 5", 145lbs and I ordered a size M.

Nice form fitting coat. Ordered a size up and still fits snug. Sleeves are a little long. Hood is generous and keeps rain off face. Ordered for Paris in April, should be just what I needed!

I love the jacket. It fits great and has a nice curve to the fit so it doesn’t look frumpy - the hood actually fits perfect and isn’t too small
The only issue I have is the crinkle sound of the jacket is extremely loud and curious if it will go away with time.

I like the tailored fit, but North Face runs small and this jacket does run narrow at the hips. I bought the Large, when I usually take a Medium, and I can't button the last button. I would return it, but I took the tags off. I just wear it without buttoning the last button.

The coat was beautiful but I ignored the review comments from others who claimed the coat was small. I ordered the coat in large because my other Northface coat was large but this beautiful coat was too tight and the sleeves were too long.

I like this raincoat and I would have given it five stars except for the following. It feels a little snug especially around the hips. Also the sleeves are longer than I like. Other than that I love the color and weight of the coat.

This jacket is perfect for the Seattle weather. I bought it for walking my dog in the rain, but I often wear it to work as well. I wish it were more fitted in the waist, but it does have a flattering silhouette. Cons: I struggle with the zipper and the sleeves are a little too long.

Stylish rain jacket. Kept me dry during a few rain storms- constant steady rain but not heavy downpours. I am 5'2"-140lb, normal shape, not apple or pear, but broad shoulders. Got a medium and can still fit a down sweater or fleece underneath if needed. Bottom can be snug while walking, but the double zipper fixes that. I probably would have returned if it didn't have that. The fabric is a bit stiff so don't expect a large range of movement. Because I'm petite the length hits my mid thigh, which is what I wanted- but the sleeves go down to my fingertips. The jacket has a thin lining but no insulation, so don't expect warmth. Definitely for casual wear and not active outings.

This was nice but def. is not a jacket that keeps you warm as it is not insulated at all. I generally wear a small but this felt a bit tighter on me - I also have broader shoulders so that also is why it felt tighter than most other smalls I wear.

Very nice raincoat. Pretty thin so you have to wear something under it to stay warm. I'm usually a M in jackets but I got a S because the arms are prettying long and I didn't want it to look too big.

I bought this jacket for those rainy day and it work for it's intended purpose. I'm 5'1 and got an xs and it was the fit I like, snug but still enough room for layer underneath. It is lightweight and meant to keep wind and rain off.

I can't wait for the rainy season. Soft and short enough for good long walks in the rain with my pup.

I was looking for a mid thigh rain coat and this one was perfect except it was way too small. I usually take a medium and ordered a medium... couldn't even zip it up! Sleeve length was good however. I did like the coat but had to return.

This jacket is very lightweight and comfortable but it was too tight when I zipped it up, so I had to return it and get a large. It is very stylish and it can be worn with athletic clothes as well. Overall a good jacket but size up.

This coat is not too thin. It is also very comfortable to be active. Good and clean even if you dry it on a rainy day with a nice wet towel.

The jacket is very stylish and comfortable. Don't purchase if you're looking for something to keep you warm in cold weather. However, if you want something cute that you can wear during the fall or rainy days it's perfect

Like the longer length , use it while walking dog. It is very slim fitting, would not use it for any athletic endeavor. Size small fit me as a slim fit. I'm 5'6 , 124 lbs with slim hips. Jacket is not for a curvy woman. Tried going up a size but then sleeves were way too long.
