I bought these before a 30-day work trip on an island in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Panam. I am so glad I had these. I've been walking through waterfalls in basalt ravines, bogs with millions of La Palma Negra thorns, mangrove swamps, and beaches. Though the shoes aren't necessarily made for hiking on treacherous conditions on dry land, they've been superlative in areas where I would normally want hiking boots. They drain exceedingly well, and even shed mud and sand better than expected. I would highly recommend them.

I had been looking for a water shoe that drains out the side, rather than holes in the bottom. Most that I found had the bottom holes, which let the least bit of water come up into the shoe. These shoes' drains are on the side, and elevated, so shallow water doesn't readily come in.
They are so comfortable that I have put them in regular rotation with my other sneakers.
If they continue to be as comfortable as they are now, I will buy more if they are available.

Purchased for paddle boarding. Become very uncomfortable after about an hour of wearing while standing in place on a board and even quicker if walking

Bought these for my husband to use in Jamaica and I couldn't wait until we got home to tell everyone how great these shoes did. They didn't slip, water drains right through them. 100% recommend. We rode ATVs, ziplined, tubed, and jumped from waterfalls and swam without any difficulty.

Bought the shoes 2 months ago ... my feet feels right at home in them, doesn't feel like new shoes ... went hiking, went working out, went working, went fishing, went walking all around town, all feels comfy and very breathable ... on top of that, looks great ... well done Columbia! ...

what can I say, i have owned 5 different pairs of this shoe over the years and have worn them well and have never had any issue, wet or dry, for me the sturdiness manages any soil, deck or sidewalk.

The support of a sneaker the drainage of a water shoe. Hiked the narrows of Zion in these with neoprene socks and they worked great. Then used them whitewater rafting on the Arizona river. I definitely recommend wearing neoprene socks and you'll comfortable to the beach and into the water. Also provided great traction on the river rocks.

These shoes are built of the highest quality and will not only allow use in water but are comfortable enough to wear hiking. Durable, comfortable, multi-use, what more can you ask. Thanks Columbia for a very pleasant surprise.

I bought these to guide in Rocky Mountain National Park. And for the first year I never wore them for anything but guiding because I feared the pavement would wear out the soles. Well, one day I wore them around town, for a PM trip and was amazed. Utterly shocked at how comfortable they were and how cool my feet stayed in them in socks. Today, I wear them every day. Third pair. Love, love, love how my feet stay cool and dry in them. Nothing like them on the planet.

When purchasing anything for active wear, I always go to Columbia first.
Why? Because of past experience with their products. Yes , many are of foreign
manufacture, but the quality has been
better than competitors. This denotes better supervision from start to finish. The fit, selection variety, color etc are true to description. I'm paying for a good product first and not a nameit just happens that the name Columbia is always connected to good products!!
