I have worn my new shoes just twice, for 3-4 hours each time. I am really hoping with more wear, they will become more comfortable, ie: become broken in. This is the FIRST pair of New Balance tennis shoes that have not been super comfortable from the moment I first put them on. I will remain hopeful :)

Have worn version 1 of this shoe for years, bought multiples each time I purchased. Now having some trouble with V3. Hoping it will work but so far the wide is a bit snug at least in the gray color combo. Do not like this color at all. Trying them again in the white in the wide and extra wide. Hoping one or the other will work as I have bunions so my toebox requires wide while my ankles are narrow. This sneaker was always my go to. Have always liked and trusted NB sneakers.

This is the first time I have bought a New Balance Show. I bought on line due to the Covid19 virus. I liked the shoe when it arrived but it was to small and I have returned them and ordered a larger size. I"ll be able to give you feedback on the next shoe hopefully.

I was getting desperate I looked I thought the shoes would fit tried buying them online because the stores are closed but when I got the shoes what normally should fit me didn't and my toes were touching the tips of the shoes and the size for rubbing on the size of my feet. Therefore I really need to buy shoes in the store not online

I wear them for working. I ordered a wide width but still has some rubbing because of the design of the shoe

I ordered extra wide because I have trouble with ingrown toenails, but the shoes aren't as comfortable and end up rubbing my big toe (trying to grip?). Since I wore them several times before deciding that they were too wide, I can't return them.
I also don't like the way the heals are painted so it looks like I'm wearing out the outside edges of the heal, but they're brand new!

I ordered this shoe in a D width, and it was plenty wide. However, the front piece and stitching was exactly over my little toe. I couldn't wear them because of the pressure and rubbing in that area.

When I first put these on, I loved them. But the stabilization at the inside arch was too much for me. I didn't realize that the stabilization was for people who's shoes wear on the inside heel. My shoes wear on the outside. Returning them was easy

I returned the shoes because they cut across the toes of my foot and were actually painful to wear. I ordered a wide, so they should have fit great.

I love New Balance stability shoes, but these were too bulky for me with a high profile that rubbed my ankle bone. I went back to the 860's, more money but a better fit.

This would be an every day shoe for me. I found the toe box too narrow and the heel height higher than other running shoes. I hope to return these soon. I'm waiting to hear from customer service and speak with them about what to purchase. I am trying to replace a pair of 1260v6.

I have purchased many New Balance running shoes and this one is alright but it's not fantastic. The toe box is more narrow than other New Balance running styles. The tongue constantly slides off center and I can't get it to stay put which makes it rub funny. And there is a lot of "breaking in" with the area around the ankle that is required as it is stiff and kind of hurts. I've been wearing them a week and they are still stiff and a little painful in this break-in process.

I wear these for walking and just about but they do not have enough give in the bunion areas and cause that area and the toe areas to hurt. The trim must not be leather and it has no give to it. Would have returned but couldn't tell right away, you know.

I was excited about getting these shoes because they were recommended for plantar fasciitis. Initially, they felt pretty good, but after wearing them for a few days, I found my feet were hurting more than with my previous shoes. Also, my right foot feels numb on top despite multiple adjustments of the laces. They just aren't that comfortable. I'm back to wearing my old shoes.

The new shoe style has loose thread where the top of the laces are. The new balance insignia goes over the laces go over the shoe and the rim of the shoe stops just before it. I have not even worn them yet and the thread on both sides of the shoe are already loose.
A sturdy shoe but it won't last as did the stability style of 2 years ago.

I had the previous version of this shoe and it was quiet comfortable. I order the new version 1340v3, it has great support and I have not problem with its foot bed, however the upper shoe was too tight and after a while I had pain of the upper bone of the foot, metatarsal bone and tarsals bone. I returned the shoe. However I wish its problem be solved, since it has very comfortable foot bed for those who has planar fascia and flat foot.

Good shoe for arch support. Unfortunately the liner around the ankle is very uncomfortable. I will go back to the 940v4 in the future.

PROS:
- The sneakers felt like they were made from really good quaity materials. I've noticed that lately, some NB sneakers feel like they are made of cheaper quality (the laces, mesh upper, etc.). But these felt like they were made from high quality materials.
- The look is great.
- I am EXTREMELY picky about which sneakers I can use because I have terribly flat feet, and even with my special-made orthodics, if I don't have the perfect sneakers, I get very bad debilitating knee pain such that I can't walk at all. So the right sneakers for me are major. And these sneakers seemed like they were very good and supportive around the ankle. (They also fit my orthodic (which is called a UCBL - named after the University of Berkley in CA where it was developed), and it's made extra deep for pronation control. Even with these deeper orthodics, the sneakers were big enough to hold them and have room for my own feet.)
So, I wasn't able to wear these long enough to say 100% they would be good for me and my overpronation, but, when I tried them on, they felt like they probably would've been great for my knee pain.
CONS:
I still decided to return these because of sizing. I'm usually a women's 7.5 B (standard width) in NB sneakers so I ordered this same size and the toe box was too wide and spacious.

I ordered these without knowing for sure if they'd fit. I usually order a men's size and because I wanted this color I went with a women's size, I upped it a half size as I read they run small. And I also checked another different brand I had at home to see what size they were and went with that. I have had 2 pairs of the men's equivalent shoe although they were 1340v2's, but I couldn't find those on the site. So figured these looked similar. They fit fine, but after wearing for 3 or more hours my feet ache so badly right around the ball of my feet (below where the toes meet the foot), this is my 3rd pair of such an expensive style, I need a good shoe for work as I am on my feet most the day. Anyway I am disappointed as it was a lot of money to spend on a pair of shoes that I will not wear as much I had hoped. (I am still wearing my old pair for the most part). But the quality is good as far as how they're made, and they were delivered in a timely manner.

The fit was true to size. 7 1/2 B fit well as always.

I have multiple pair of NB and have always worn a 9D or wide. These shoes are tight in the toe box. As far as support the sides are stiff were the N is. So it does give good support, however there is not a lot of cushion.
I love the color of the shoe and wish others styles came in this combination.
The only way I would buy again is if I could try them on in the store, and would try the extra wide.
Unfortunately I have worn them so can't return for a better fit. I keep hoping they will stretch out a little more.

This pair is the 4th pai i have bought in past 5 years. The quality has changed. The toe box is different now and where the leather is sewn to fabric is flawed. Already sent 2 pair back for the same thing. and wasn't.t any different with this pair.
