I have bunions, but I love to walk. Comfortable wide shoes are a must for an active grandma. These shoes make walking a pleasure--even with my bunions!

I usually wear a 10 WW, but had to size up to 10 1/2 in this shoe ( I think it is problem with my toe, and found the 10 1/2 to offer deeper toe box. Good support and cushioning, so very happy now with the fit and feel

FINALLY I have found a shoe that meets most of my critera - wide toe box, D width, firm support (bends very little at forefoot), excellent arch support for my severe over pronation, and allows me to remove the insole pad and use my full length prescription orthotics. The size 9 and D width felt true to size. I only wear athletic shoes all day, every day so getting the correct fit and arch support is crucial for my over pronation. I have tried, and returned, so many different brands and models from Zappos and was convinced there were no shoes currently on the market that were acceptable. I have now ordered 2 pairs of each color so that I'll be stocked for awhile. As is the case w/all running shoes, future versions of your perfect shoes will be "updated" and no longer work. The only criteria that wasn't met was fun, bright color choices. White and grey aren't exciting choices. I would really stock up if there were choices in bright blues, purples/lavender, and pink tones!!!

These shoes were recommended by my podiatrist. I wore them for several years. I was told that these shoes were no longer available, but thankfully, I was able to order from your website. I ordered 2 pair. I do get a little rub on the top of one foot, but am learning if I adjust the "tongue", the rub goes away.

I use these shoes daily for running hills and elliptical workouts, not just walking all over creation. I bought the same number(model) as last time but a half size bigger. The toes fit better but after my first workout i had to use moleskin due to a surprising sore spot over my small toe joint. I have continued to use moleskin because the area of irritation continues to be a problem... there is a seam on the inside of the shoe that just rubs wrong. Sigh.

Based from other reviews, I bought x-wide instead of the usual wide. Very comfortable but a little heavier than the older version for running. Overall, very comfortable with great cushion for flat feet.

I base my sneaker comfort on the first time I wear them. These were comfortable from the get go but needed a little break In time. I am not a runner but big walker so I look for running shoes. They are a bit heavy and stiff, so they will just need some time. So happy you had size 10.5....not easy to find. They will be great in cooler weather

I walk 15-20 miles per week, and while these are running shoes, they work pretty well. If I could get the 840s in something other than scorchingly hot leather, I would buy those 6 pairs at a time. My only complaint about these is the same one I had against the 847s, my arch supports slide forward inside the shoe. Also, I would prefer a little more support under the ball of my foot.

I purchased these sneakers after my podiatrist recommended them. For some reason my right foot hits the side and causes discomfort. I ended up putting in lifts to help alleviate that though it doesn't conpletely stop the pain. They are definitely much more confortable on my feet than my last pair of New Balance Sneakers - love the outlet. I was long overdue for a a new pair and these are higher quality than any I have owned in some time, and I got them at a discounted price.

I am a runner and power walker who has used the NB 860s for many years. I need a stability shoe, and loved the support of the 860s, but the mesh top at the front of the shoe had split on both the version 8 and 9, so decided to try the 1340 since it has a reinforced toe area. My only criticism of the shoe so far is that the tongue is a bit too long and it was hard for me to get it properly laced to hold in place. I finally got it after a week of trial and area. Overall, love the shoe's support and traction.

I really liked these shoes and was looking forward to putting a lot of miles on them. I've generally been happy with a wide width size 9 sgoes, but because of the firmness of the shoe side to side there was no give and they hurt my feet. There were apparently no size 9 s left in the extra wide, or O would have exchanged them. So many of the shoes seem to have dropped the wide width or just become too expensive, so I'm afraid I will need to shop elsewhere. Too bad.
