the waist was too large, I ordered 32" which I've always worn, I'm replacing pants I've had for 25 years which were 32 waist and I find the new 32 is about 2" too large for me. Somehow the new 32 = old 34

These pants are ok but nothing to brag about. Heavier fabric would help.

These pants are well made, but in today's market, should have more stretch and a tapered leg fit option. Side thigh pockets for a phone or sunglasses case are also a nice touch. Price was right, but not the fit for me.

These pants are considerably smaller than the same pants in a different color my son has. They will have to be returned. This is the second time this has happened. Their sizing even on the same pants seems to be very inconsistent. I also have to pay to return them.

Pants are great 5 stars. 1 star for sending, what I believe is the wrong color, but it's not worth the trouble of returning.

I have owned many pairs of ROC pants over the years and the style and convenient pockets are just as always. What has changed is the fabric. The new fabric is thinner than before and attracts pet hair like crazy .

Not like the first model photos, very baggy through the legs, more like the last 'action' photo. Was expecting them to be slimmer through the legs

Very comfortable pants, and when you first put them on they look great. But within a few hours of sitting or driving, these pants look like you slept in them for two days in a row. Can't recommend them for professional work attire, especially if your work includes evening meetings after an already full day.

Super comfortable but fray and split super easily. Have bought 4 of these in the past two years and only one is still intact. Certainly not made for daily wear.

Been ordering Roc pants for a decade, mostly for the zip pocket. Before they went to "flex," they fit great. (I know because I still have the non-flex variety in my closet.) With the flex, the waist gets wider and wider throughout the day, sliding lower and lower on my hips (not my look), forcing me to keep pulling them up. I'm tall and thin and my weight hasn't changed in decades. I used to order the 33-inch waist in the non-flex. Now, with the flex, the 33s are too big, so I went to 32, and those are too big. Sad that Columbia ruined my go-to pants.

I have previously owned Columbia pants of the same size and these were way too large. I wish I had known they run large and I would have ordered a smaller size.

Seem to be well constructed and true to fit. Primary complaint is that they are extremely thin. These are cotton pants that are thin as nylon fishing pants. They are not "work pants", but you cannot tell this from the photo. I'm sure the weight of the cotton is listed somewhere on the description but I did not see it. I will use them for trips to warm weather places but they would not be suitable for the Northeast in any months other than the summer.

Have several pairs of men's flex roc shorts so i decided to order a pair of pants. Sizing is inconsistent with shorts. I wear 34 in shorts, ordered 35 in pants. They were so tight i could not button closed. Sent back and reordered a larger size.

Comfort aside the snap won't stay snapped. If I didn't wear a belt I would return

These are my go-to pants for work, casual, and hiking. This may sound similar to a statement written by Alice in Wonderland's Mad Hatter - but when the pants fit, they fit well. The dilemma is the fit is inconsistent. I went through many iterations of ordering pants, trying them on, sending them back, ordering a pair with a slightly different size, trying them on, and so-forth until I found the size that is proper. I recently ordered the EXACT same pants style, exact same size, in different colors. One pair of pants was an inch shorter. Customer service was really friendly in correcting the dilemma. However, it's still a pain in the rear. I am waiting for the replacement pair of pants. I will found out if the replacement pair of pants is still an inch short.

I have had several pairs of these pants and stil wear them, but the cut and material of these pants I got are different. The cut is a bit bigger and the material is much different - much lighter/thinner. So, these these new pants I bought were disappointing. My first several pairs are great these are just OK .......

I have purchased over 10 versions of Flex ROC and three in the last 2 years. The latest 34WX32L is way too long in the legs compared to my last three of the same color and produced in India. The waist is wider and length longer. It fits like a 35WX34L.

The tight crotch means that this sits very low on the hips and requires that you always wear a belt to keep it from slipping down. The narrow thighs prevent the legs from draping naturally and show off the contents of your pockets in stark relief. On the plus side, the cloth is sturdy, I like the zippered security pocket, and the neutral color makes them acceptable for situations which aren't entirely casual.

I've been buying these work pants for the past 5 years. I still wear the first three pairs I bought. They are a tough pant. They did wear easily in the crotch area. 2 of my originals have holes at the bottom of the zipper. I bought another couple of pairs about a year ago. They were made of a lighter material and feel less durable. Haven't worn holes in them yet. The 4 pairs I bought the most recent time.. 4-2021 had smaller pockets and definitely are lighter material than the previous.. it is concerning. Being that I wear these pants 6 days a week in a active work setting. We will see. But durability is definitely a concern.

It is not that your trousers (I include the six pair of Silverridge I have) are not great in design and in material, or that they are too large or too small. They are both. The length especially and also waist varies vary as much as an inch. Of this last set of ROC pants, one pair fit perfectly, the other made me look as if I had on a clown suit. It is quite expensive to have to take them to a seamstress.

Baggy fit. Synthetic feeling fabric. They'll probably become my construction pants sooner than planned. Still looking for the all cotton pants like Columbia made a few years ago........these ain't them.
