Very comfortable. Perfect pool and beach sandal.

I purchased these to have something comfortable to wear around the house and as an alternative to a slipper for the spring and summer. They are lightweight, comfortable, and fit well. Yes, they do make a suspicious sound as you walk on occasion that may cause a few head turns, but I am confident enough to let that slide in my review. The only thing that prevents a five star rating from me is the fact that they feel a bit cheaply made. I really hope these last a while. I'm not hard on my shoes so we'll see if the $44 bucks was worth it. After seeing a pair (off brand) at my local store that felt the same and a fraction of the price, I became concerned. As long as they hold up a few summers, I'm happy.

Very comfortable and very light! But the little pin on the buckle broke literally the first time I put them on, which was quite disappointing.

The center piece rubs my toes badly, so I need to put moleskin on the underside. Defeats the purpose of these being waterproof.

These sandals seem over priced for there support. I’ve yet to purchase the hard sole style of Birkenstock’s gizeh but these don’t seem to live up to the support and podiatry hype. I like them. They’re a simple style sandal and comfy but not for city use or walking long distance. I’m flat footed and need arch support for longer walks. If you’re looking for support these are not for you! Also, always order a size down in Boris maybe even 2 sizes down.

These EVA Gizehs are a good choice for summer, especially at the beach. I took these on vacation, in place of my regular Birkenstocks. These are supercute and waterproof!

Fits exactly like normal Birks! A little squeaky and very comfortable.

I want these to go back to how they were! This newer version is uncomfortable. The sole has “Birkenstock” writing raised up so you feel it on your foot. And the plastic at the toe was cut rough with a line that irritated immediately when trying them on. These were my beach and pool summer go-to sandal, and I hope they come back to being as comfortable as they used to be!

Cute but the thong between the toe was large and rubbed on the top of my foot. The rubber was also very stiff.

Love this style, have it in the leather edition and wear often with no problem. Wore it in the house and within an hour or 2 developed a sore spot that was about to become a blister. Becuz they are plastic and not breathable my feet will not tolerate them -- the only place on my body that has no fat (which leads to problems on finding shoes that fit!) . Do love the style and the fit. Thinking about ordering another leather pair.

I own several pairs of the traditional cork footbed Birkenstocks and I keep buying them because of the aggressive arch support my feet crave. These didn't even have as much arch support as my old broken in ones. They are supper light weight and the material makes these feel more cushioned than the tradition cork footbeds. I was disappointed these won't work for me because I loved the idea of being able to get them wet, but I need better arch support. My 13 year old son however, likes the arch support so we got him a pair of the Arizona essentials.

Really comfortable but they make a “farting” noise as I walk since they are plastic type material and my feet suction cup to them. I hope it will go away but reading lots of reviews I guess Birks are known for this annoying noise. They are really comfortable though and I love I can get them wet. It will really come in handy with my kids this summer.

Fit was great. My feet are a bit sweaty so they were pretty noisy on my first day wearing them. As a middle school teacher I’m opting to send them back.

I'm typically a 9. These felt more like a 9.5. I ordered the 8-8.5 version and they fit fine.

I love the idea of there sandals! Almost as comfortable and my cork soled Birks (which says a lot) and waterproof. Sadly, they're going back. Every time I take a step my foot makes a squishing sound, which I am sure would only be enhanced when wet.

The previous "version" of these shoes that I have and love have the Birkenstock logo, etc. printed inside the sole. Now it is molded into the shoe and it's AWFUL. It feels like you have something in your shoe. I ordered this second pair because I LOVE my first pair and I wanted to make sure I had more in case they were discontinued. Bummer. I could not wear these and returned them immediately. They would drive me INSANE and I don't normally have any kind of sensory issues with clothing, etc.

I loved my “Birken-Crocs” for the five months I had them. Then an unfortunate malfunction had me wondering whether I should buy another pair... I left them outside the front door (in the sun, in Maine July) and when I went to put them back on they were so hot and squashy I just carried them. And when I went to put them on the next I realized the heel cups had shrunk as well as the straps curling... VERY bummed to loose this versatile pair of shoes from my repertoire.

I'm sorry I started using them because as I saw myself in a mirror afterwards I realized how antiestetics looks a sandal running big. Unfortunatelly in my rush I threw all the packaging away so I will have to keep them. It's my 3rd pair of this brand bought at your sight and the only one that looks and feels soo oversized.

Man oh man. LOVE this shoe. Super cute. Unfortunately, I have to send them back. The sound that is created when your foot "sucks" off the arch is EXTREMELY audible! It is due to the nature of the rubber vs. your flesh. Seriously bummed out. WHY DID BIRKENSTOCK STOP MAKING THE VEGAN GIZEH?! Thought this was going to be a terrific replacement but no dice. Shame on you, Birkenstock. Giving you 1 star for that.

I'm puzzled that Gizeh has changed since I bought two pairs in 2015. The straps are now longer so I would have to buckle them in the tightest hole. I wanted to add a pair in black & maybe white to my Birko-Flors in Insignia Blue and Toffee, which are perfect! I buckle them in the next-to-tightest holes. I had to return the Licorice & White Birko-Flors, but decided to try the Gizeh Essentials. I really like them in Metallic Silver, but, as said, the straps are too long. Although they have to be in tightest hole, I'm hesitantly keeping the black Gizeh Essentials. Please report that pattern has changed the length of the straps. I'd like to have several additional pairs in Birko-Flor.

Extremely comfortable and fits true to size. I have flat feet and these work for me.

Simply the best! I live in this sandal in leather and love having the EVA version for my house slippers. Feeling pretty in light pink!

I bought these primarily for the pool. I find I’m using them for everything, even as house slippers. I do have some pain between the toes on one foot, but i think as they get worn in and a little more flexible that will subside as the discomfort has gotten better. I appreciate the support and lightweight factors.

Superb comfort and fit. Adjustable strap makes a big difference in fitting perfectly. They’re fashionable and flattering. Highly recommend this sandal.
