These boots are comfortable and built to last. Out of the box comfort . Love them.

I just ordered my second pair of the Moab 2 Mid Tactical Boot. My first pair is still going strong after two years of being my primary pair of boots for uniform use and this second pair will be for my duties on our Tac unit. As of my last shift, my original pair is still waterproof. These also wear much more like a "tennis shoe" than a boot and that is critical to me after a week of 12 hour shifts. It also helps that Merrell's wide shoes fit me perfectly. If you told me I had to say something bad about these, it would be that the black ones are prone to show dirt and dust more so than conventional duty boots but that is a pretty easy issue to resolve. As long as these continue to be made and perform to the high standards that my first pair has, I honestly can't see myself ever leaving them for anything else. They are that good and at a great cost too.

I bought these as a work boot for winter on the ramp at the jackson Wyoming airport and as an executive driver . With a heavy wool sock they have been comfortable down to 20 below for up to an hour at a time at moderate activity level. I wear light socks when I'm driving. I have short wide feet so finding shoes that fit is tough sometimes. I'm ordering a second pair and maybe a third shortly there after because they always discontinue shoes that fit or that work well for me.

I love my Merrells as my everyday shoe since my wife and I are avid hikers. Imagine my delight when they came out with tactical boots I could wear to work too! I bought these for work and just like all Merrells there is no break in period, tbey were so comfortable I found myself wearing them off duty as my regular go to boot. Of course I had to buy another pair now. The waterproofing is excellent and they are flexible as you move. I have seen other reviews where people have said they are hot or heavy and I do not find that at all. Now that they have made tactical boots for law enforcement I will never go back to any other brand.

This boot is great! I originally bought as a work boot, but it is so comfortable it is my go to shoe. Great support and comfortable.

I wear a prosthetic on my left foot and a "high top" was recommended to wear it with. This line of the Moab 2 is comfortable across the board! Next to no or short, 2 our break in time.

I've been buying Merrells for years, shoes and boots. The comfort is straight out of the box, no break in required at all. They're tough and durable, I'm very hard on my footwear (mud, rain, snow) I expect no less from Merrell for reliability and backing of their outstanding products. This pair I just purchased is replacing the pair I had for 4 years!! Through thick and thin, I truly believe Merrells will get you thru your day with style, comfort, durability and you'll knowi you have one of thee best footwear products on your feet. I'll definitely be buying again in very near future.

I have heard my co workers talked about Merrell boots but never knew how comfortable they are until I decided to purchase one myself. Wore it for a few weeks now and my feet are dry and does not hurt my feet at all. I got my supervisor to purchase one for himself too and he loves it. I went to bought another pair as back up. Absolutely love these boots.

Merrill is known and recommend by sales folks from stores, for having quality products. So I decided to get a pair knowing that I will be doing a lot of standing and walking and sometimes on rocky surfaces. Right now I am in the break in period in which I do not think it is going to take very long. These boots are very comfortable and I bought a wide size and the fit was perfect. I am looking forward to next Summer when I will be putting these boots through the long hot days in West Virginia at the World Scout Jamboree.

Just got them a week ago and love the way they fit very comfortable for a boot. They are well built and look great! Going to order a second pair in black now!

These are the most comfortable shoes ever for my wide, fat feet. Superior to New Balance it seems, they're well made and very roomy, with a nice wide and firm sole. The little bit of added height also seems to help my miserable feet and ankles with stability. Please just don't pull a "New Balance" thing and discontinue this model, at least not in my lifetime :D

They fit great going to buy some work boots my next order

This was the first time I had to order wide boots and the fit was roomy. The boot is comfortable and appears to be very sturdy. I will definitely buy Merrell's again!

Shoes looked great but too wide. Sadly, never had a chance to really wear them.

Fit perfectly right out of the box and didn't require a "breaking in" period. I definitely recommend these and will buy again
