Not a real tactical boot. They claim a protective toe cap. It does NOT have a composite toe cap. The boots do not have oil resistant soles, does not have full shank for support and puncture resistant, does not have electrical rating, not OSHA certified and the list goes on of what the boots don't have. Boots are extremely small and not wide fit at all. Merrell missed the mark. Do not buy.

Got these boots because they're waterproof and every shoe I've bought from Merrill have been awesome. Unfortunately these were not. Extremely uncomfortable. I like the way they look, fit and they are waterproof but they are so uncomfortable I can't wear them all day and my feet hurt the day after I wear them.. disappointing.

Very comfortable boots and the fit was perfect, but these were not the least bit water proof as advertised.

Have been wearing Moab's for 15 years, the same size 8.5 W. This pair was too big. Had to send them back. Trying an 8w this time.

I purchased a pair of these from a retailer. I have had Merrel Products before with good luck. In less than 6 months of everyday wear the outer sides started to split open where it meets the sole. No luck with retailer or Merrel.
