These are true to size and have lots of stretch. They are light as air and dry extremly quickly. They seem durable but concerned that they may tear easily but thankful it hasn't happened! They wash easily and hand to dry. Nice ankle adjustment to keep trail debris out.

I got a pair a few months ago and I can't stop wearing them. My only con is that the pants seem so popular that they rarely, if ever, have my size. (33 long)

I had first purchased a pair the day before traveling to Nepal for trekking. Going into the TNF store, I first eyed a pair of hiking pants that had the lower leg zipper feature where you can remove the bottom for shorts. The employee then offered for me to try out the Progressor pants which cost more but says everyone loves them. I thought it was just a classic up sale, but I was willing to entertain him. When I put them on, I could feel the comfort. The material was stretchy in the right joints. It wasn't baggy, but it was skin tight. Goldilocks would say it was JUST RIGHT. Putting on the pants was akin to test driving a car to make the sale, because I made my decision to buy within 5 seconds of trying them on. During my trekking in Nepal, the weather was very hot for that time of year, but the pans remained breathable. The cuff has a string to tighten if needed, so I was able to roll them up to near my knees for more ventilation, an unforeseen bonus which for which i was originally looking. I basically put the pants through the wringer for 2 weeks and considering the amount of mileage they have gone through even after the trip months ago, they are still in excellent condition. Only complaint is the logo in the back of the pants wears off with some washing, but that's completely aesthetic. The logo on the front is near mint condition. I bought these pants again in a different color so I can at least rotate between hikes/bikes.

Love the fit and feel. Especially good in warm or hot weather. Even great for lounging because of the stretch. Great to have zipper pockets to keep wallet phone secure.

like the title says, I haven't taken these off since I got them last week! They are the perfect pants to walk the dog, enough room for a base layer and they cut the wind. Wore them on a super rainy day and they dry out super quick. Breathable and flexible they work for working out, hiking, I imagine good for running since they're so light (I don't run anymore personally) and great for the wildly variable weather we get in Wisconsin (this week we've seen lows of 33 and highs of 65 I'm 6'4" and 215# with an athletic build, i.e. glutes and upper thigh are a fit issue in other pants. Ordered 36 Long, typically what I would wear in any brand of pants. These a allow a great freedom of movement with plenty of room and stretch in the upper section, but tapering to a narrow lower leg so no excess flapping. The next trial is commuting by bike, I'm expecting them to work very well. My only complaint is the came issue I have in most pants, that ordering the size that fits my butt and legs means the waist is a little too loose, I wish there was draw-cord or maybe more elastic in the waistband

Pants are the hardest to fit. On the first loop the Fit Finder has me in a 36 Regular, but I am 6 ft. tall, waist 40, hips 43, with the core and legs of a gymnast. Even the sizing guide has me in a 38R, but in a tight fit with no room to spare. No way I fit into a 36R, which is two sizes down. On the second loop Fit Finder put me in a 38R, but I rejected that output because I wear a similar product from a different brand with a relaxed fit in 40R, and those pants are a nice fit with the waist worn high at mid core. That's how I want to wear the Progressor, with a traditional look and style that would match my TNF Bionic jacket and vest, and I want a little room underneath for a baselayer if I need it. On the third loop the Fit Finder put me in the same size as the other product I wear, which is a 40R and matches my thinking that with my build and way I wear the belt that size would be just the right amount of looseness for the relaxed fit of the Bionic style, yet respect the slim fit line and leave room for a baselayer if I need it. Went with the third option and got the perfect fit on the first order. I found the Fit Finder useful to walk me through the fit options, and to get me thinking about the variables, and the sizing guide is spot on. The Progressor pants fit as expected.

Great light weight hiking pants. I trail ride with these all the time. Wish NorthFace would make some downhill or trail riding gear. Mountain biking and road biking are niche markets that north face could crush!

Absolutely love these pants!! The fit is perfect. They're tough yet I can do a full squat with zero bunching. They flex so well! If I were rich I'd buy five more pairs lol. Not only do they fit perfect, they look just as rad! I originally ordered a 34 and they were big. I opted for 32 and the fit is just right. Thank you North face for making kick awesome pants. I do want to try mountain biking in these :)
