I had no idea there was a zipper in these shoes! What a neat design! Very comfortable, cushioning feels great. Price was excellent too. I wish there were more colors- I’d buy ‘em all!

Nice comfortable shoe once I got it on, but the zipper closer was too hard for me to close w/my arthritic hands. Given how hard they were to close, I wasn't trusting that the zipper would last. New shoelaces I can get. Not so with a zipper. I returned them.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable. These are the second pair I ordered for my daughter. The sizes kind of true, however in our experience from an 8 to a 9 was a big difference. The strap system is very robust. The only place they start to break was a the tip were the big toe fits started to break since it is knitted. The kids version have a reinforcement in that area.

Originally I beyond excited when I saw these Velcro sneakers. When I first put them on they were too high cut that they rubbed against my ankle, this was easily fixed by putting my insoles inside of them. From there a new problem arose, these shoes were too tight and began cutting off circulation to my feet, making them numb. Overall that was the only bad things about these shoes.

True to size

I am a paraplegic (t6-t8). In the past, I had a hard time putting on my shoes over the heels of my foot. The zippered feature makes it easy to take them on and off my feet. They also stay on my footrest really well. The only thing I don't like about the sneakers is that your foot has to be pushed in really well to zipper them in the back.

I ordered an 8.5 because Nike shoes tend to run small, I wear a size 8 in other shoe. However, I was correct in ordering a half size bigger. When I first put them on it felt like I was walking on clouds. This is a very comfortable shoe!

I bought these for my mom. She loved everything about them ... the style, the color, the easy on and off design BUT we ended up having to return them because part of the shoe was irritating her outside ankle bone. We both wear the same size, so I tried them on as well. The same thing was happening to me. We really wanted to make them work so were disappointed to have to send them back. I hope others give them a try because they are a very good shoe otherwise.

Great shoe! Purchased the 4E and the width is perfect! The only complaint is they are a little slippery on wet surfaces.

Normally I’m an 8 W but they were massive on me so I had to size down to a 7 W which fits perfectly! Shoes run a bit large.

Great shoe but a little on the wide side for my liking. Easy to throw on for quick errands or to leave on all day for chores around the house. Don't think it would offer enough support for a daily run or workout but love it all the same!

After reading other reviews, I ordered a half size bigger than normal (11.5 vs 11) and I’m happy I did. I have very wide feet and the wide width felt perfect. Like many others, I too have a high instep but I was still able to get the Velcro to reach the other side enough to secure the shoe.

Oh I wanted to love these... Pros: They are so comfortable on the bottoms of the feet, lightweight, and the zipper/velcro enclosure is genius! Cons: They come up too high and dig into my ankle bones to be able to wear them for any length of time.

They were just too big. The velcro piece on the top also made me think that I was either 5 years old or 95 years old, but I also worried about it coming undone on the treadmill. They are curet and were recommended for the workout I do, but it didn't kill me to return them. I ordered a totally different style and I'm happy with the new ones.

These run larger than any Nike I have purchased in the past. Seem to run 1/2 size over and a little wide on the top of the toes. Not sure I'm crazy about the zipper velcro no tie, simply because I see a nightmare on the treadmill if the velcro comes undone.

I was on the fence about keeping these but decided they will be perfect for airport travel (the zipper on the side is awesome!) and long flights, as well as some sightseeing. Arch support could be better, but I have high arches. They are pretty cushy however and so lightweight. I’m not one to wear athletic shoes for style, but these are pretty cute for an athletic shoe. If that’s your style, you’ll probably want this shoe - especially for the easy on-off. I didn’t buy these for running or impact workouts, so I can’t say how they would be. For me, I would stick to my Saucony. So my solid 4 stars is because lack of arch support and thinking some tweaks would improve the style, but that’s my taste.

I really like the shoes making it easier for my braces. I ordered my normal size 10 medium when they arrived they seem too small so I returned them to get a size 11wide and they were still to small. I really like the sneakers but i refuse to wear a size 12 they seem narrow. I like the fact no need to tie laces just zip it up

Great concept with the zipper. Wanted the laces to tighten for my narrow foot but laces are not adjustable. Odd. Could cut them and put in your own laces I guess. Returned. May reconsider in different color and my own laces.

I wanted to love these shoes, but unfortunately they did not accomodate my orthotic brace, they were not deep enough even when removing the insole. Also, the velcro strap was too short to pull across my foot. However it was quite comfortable on my non-brace foot.

A very nice looking shoe and seemed well made, but it should not be listed as an adaptive shoe for there it falls short. I am a paraplegic so no movement in my feet. The zipper does not go all the way around the heel, only 2/3, so I had to start my foot at an angle before sliding it in which increases the likelihood my toes will be bent, and the zipper was stiff to operate. The laces are fixed elastic so I could not pull the tounge up while putting them on, and I would not be able to loosen them in case of my feet swelling. I am returning these because they do not suit my needs. Again, it's a really nice shoe and a token attempt by Nike for adaptation, but overall a cute gimmick for able-bodied people.

I would have given 5 stars across the broad had I been given what I ordered. I was given the option for "Wide" or Extra Wide" I ordered extra wide on both shoes and received wide......very disappointed. Especially since this was my first purchase ever from Zappos!

I am always looking for shoes for my daughter with special needs. She wants to be independent and can't tie her shoes so finding nice, young, comfortable shoes with a closure she can do by herself is difficult. I was excited to see these shoes with the zipper and Velcro closure. Thought it would be perfect. After 1 week the Velcro strap split open. I tried gluing it together but it wouldn't stay. So I ended up having to sew it. I thought the strap would make it longer than a week. My daughter likes them and they are comfortable. I just expected a better quality from Nike.

Was so excited to get cool Nike shoes in a wide width! Unfortunately, there's no arch support, so I pronate badly. Adding an arch insert helped, but not enough. They also look clumsier on than they do in the photos online. Returning.
