the shoes are great.. i bought them for walking , for the zipper opening which is fast and because i want to support NIKE and freedom of speech. !!! only one minor issue.. the area with the swoosh is a little narrow even though i ordered them in wide..im thinking they will soften up after awhile. no complaints . zappos is always my go-to for shoes...thanks.

Kudos to Phil N of the customer service team for steering me in the direction of these shoes. I have a narrow foot and he suggested I try these. They're perfect. I don't have any other Nike's so don't know if they always run narrow or not but the 9.5M fit me perfectly. Thanks Phil!

Originally I ordered a medium width, normally wide is too big so I adjust the laces. Because the laces are fixed elastic, it was a little more snug than usual. I returned it for a wide and while the toe box is just a little more roomy than I need, the laces aren't too tight. This shoe style is great for slipping on and off, the velcro allows you to tighten a little or make it more loose. This would be great for people who cant tie shoes easily. The color is cute and bright, and it's an attractive shoe.

i have very arthritic feet and these shoes felt perfect from the start! plenty of room for my toes and great support for walking. they look cool also - not like orthopedic shoes.

I love these shoes. They are comfortable and with the zipper, they fit snuggly and my feet don't slip around inside. I walk a lot and needed comfortable shoes with good padding; these fit the bill. Can't beat the price either.

I wear AFO braces so they work perfect with them. It’s so much easier to get my braces on with these zip ups on the side. They wear really good and I can’t complain. This is my 2nd pair of this type of shoe. Nike stopped selling these so I’m glad Zappos still carried them cause I would so lost without them. These shoes have given me more independence as I’m handicapped and can’t tie my shoes.

I think is awesome and I’m glad I found this and I’m very happy it’s perfect for my daughter.

I love these shoes! I work on concrete all day and they are so supportive and comfortable. I love the zipper feature too. Very convenient for my busy life!

This shoe is great! I broke my ankle back on Valentine’s Day slipping on some ice. It has been a long road back. Most recently I had all the metal removed and my Achilles’ tendon lengthened. Although slightly painful, these shoes have helped with my mobility and getting in and out of the shoe since I can’t lift my heel up and down so well, they are great for this! Instead of having to lace and unlace my shoes multiple times a day, I just zip and go. Wish I could put my own arch supports in but all In all, very happy with purchase!

This is a very, very cool shoe... Doesn’t have laces that tighten up...rather elastic. There is a size zipper that is very fun... These were too big for me... as I am really a C width.. They are good for someone who needs a wide.. or true D width.

Updating my review from June 5: During my nearby 3 week trip to Paris & London, I ended up wearing these shoes even more than I expected! Yes, they were indeed great for the airport and planes - being able to zip off/on was, as anticipated, really helpful. I mostly wore these with sock liners, but I didn’t notice any ‘ill effects’ from going without. (No rubbing or smell.) The memory foam was a great change from my heavier, yet cuter & more supportive (especially in the arch) shoes I wore most of the days about town (see the Sperry with the ribbon laces). So these sort of became my ‘slippers’ for being around the hotel, and even some days out. While initially I had hoped for better arch support (these are pretty much flat), the memory foam insole makes it less uncomfortable than I anticipated for my high arch foot. Now that I’m home to tropical weather, I won’t be wearing these much until the fall/winter. But, I’ll be excited to sport these babies again when it’s weather appropriate! Again, as per my earlier review, I can’t necessarily recommend these for high impact workouts, at least for me. But, after the use I got out of them on my trip, I could see wearing them for low impact activities. Still, I’ll probably stick to Saucony for exercise, as I need the better arch support. For convenience (Velcro & zip yay!), casual-sporty wear, these are great for the price, too. 1 star off for comfort because of limited arch support.

I wear an AFO brace and this is a game changer, I ordered a size larger to accommodate my leg brace but the back zipper is very easy to close one the brace is on. It used to take 2 people 10 minutes to try and shove my shoe on and now I can do it in alone with such ease! The insole does not come out but the shoe (make sure you select wide) is wide enough that you don’t need to remove the sole. Great buy for people who need a little help due to their disability.

Awesome shoes! I will be honest, I purchased these shoes because of the neat feature of the zip around closure. I also liked the colors available, and the price was within my budget. Zappos has yet to disappoint me, and always has a great selection of shoes at great prices. In addition, the prompt delivery and ability to return for free are other reasons I purchase from this company. These, by far, are the best shoes I have purchased so far from this site!

Ordered these in a wide even though I have a narrow foot. After foot surgery, I need the room in the toe box. I was happy to find these that don’t look like clunky orthopedic shoes. Love the zipper feature. I took a true 7.5 with room for Sox if need be.

These are the best shoes for people that have to wear splints I hope that Nike will continue to make these shoes

I wore these the day I got them with no break-in period and they were comfortable. Although you can't tie the shoelaces, I have a very narrow foot and they didn't feel too loose - you can pull the Velco strap as tight as you need it to be. Like another customer said, I do wish they came in more colors. I got the light blue and love them, but would't mind having them in grey
