The leather was soft enough to put on and keep walking. No breakin period. Nice quality.

This is my second pair of OluKai 'Awe'Awe sandals, as I wear them nearly every day. I normally wear an 8 1/2, but the 9 fits fine. They were comfortable right out the box and I can walk long distances on cobble stoned streets without any problem.

I loved these, with the exception of the raised spot for my toes. That felt a little weird. I did a lot of walking in them (Naval Academy tour, airports) in one day. My feet felt pretty good after. I have bunions and the straps did not bother them at all!!!!

I ordered the half size up at first, and because the buckle does not go very tight, my foot wasn't in the right place in the foot bed. You might need to try both sizes. The size down is perfect for me.

I bought the brown, nice rich color. I am usually an 8.5, so I bought an 8. They fit perfectly. I never size up in shoes. Straps are not too tight or loose. Very comfortable right out of box. I plan to wear them all over Mexico for a month. Wanted an easy walking sandal that wasn’t a flip flop and didn’t look “old lady”. These are them. They’re a keeper.

I absolutely love these! I tried several pairs of black sandals before I found these. They are incredibly comfortable. I got tired of only having Clark’s flip flops for beating around. These look a little more dressy, and I wanted something that wasn’t a thong. If I didn’t already have brown and tan sandals, I’d definitely buy another pair.

Very comfortable-felt like I wasn't even wearing shoes! Just cute enough to wear to work and casual.

My new favorite summer shoe that goes along with everything and is super comfortable to boot. I wear a Tom's 8 1/2 and a Nike 9, and I have high arches, so I went with the 9 in these shoes. They fit great, maybe a tiny bit too much space around the toes but an 8 would be too small. I highly recommend!

I bought these after trying them on in a store. I've only had them a week, but they are incredibly comfortable! I am taking them on vacation next week and will be wearing them for teaching. I'm fairly certain after my travels next week, I'll own them in two colors! :)

I love these sandals. They are comfortable and stylish and easy transition from jeans to shorts to dress or skirt. I wore them on a trip recently and they were comfortable the whole time. It was my first time wearing them and surprise - no blisters!!!! I do feel like the back strap is getting looser over time so don't worry if they are a little snug initially.

These sandals look great and are very comfortable right out of the box, they have very nice arch support. I got the light brown and gold ones, and the gold accents make them a bit more stylish than just plain brown sandals. I normally wear a 7.5, I got the 8 and I think it's fine.

Love this brand but could not wear this sandal as it was to wide and my foot slipped too much. I prefer the Upena style as it holds my feet better and is much more stable.

I really like this sandal. It has more support than most sandals out there. It’s a very open and breathable sandal. The leather is thick without cutting into my feet. I have slightly narrow feet, not so much as to require narrow sizing but close. I found the straps too loose but solved that issue by adding another hole higher up on the strap to make them fit more tightly.

The straps felt a little tight across my feet, but the bed is comfortable enough that I walked around in the house for a bit and the straps gave enough to be just perfect. I love these sandals, and am seriously considering picking up a pair in black as well. So cute, so comfortable... yeah, I'm going to order that black!

The shoes fit well and are comfy. A little more arch support would be nice but overall pretty good.

I really wanted to love these, but the fit was awkward.

I usually wear a 9, so that’s what I got. The sandals were super cute. There was a little arch support - way more than most sandals, just not enough for me. Too bad because if they had a slightly higher arch I would’ve kept them!

Very comfortable once I went up a size. I usually wear 8 or 8.5 and the 9 fit best in these shoes.

These are cute and well made and have great arch support for a flat sandal, but my 7.5M high-arched foot didn't fit well in either the 7 or the 8. The arch was in the right spot in the size 7, but my heel was hanging out slightly and the straps were too tight for me to push my foot forward, although there was a little space in the front. The 8 was too long and a little wide and the arch support wasn't in the right spot. I would have had to punch a new hole to adjust the strap so it didn't slip off. Sadly, I am returning.

I really loved these shoes. They appeared to be high quality and the footbed was just the right amount of support. Unfortunately, they were just too narrow for me. I think the width of my foot is fairly average. Occasionally, some sandals are too loose (such as FitFlops). I have other OluKai sandals and was very disappointed these had to be returned.

I have issues when it comes to shoes. I wear a size 11, have issues with with my arches, and don't typically like very high heels since I'm already tall. So finding cute sandals is a difficult prospect. These sandals are comfortable in the arches and fit except that the straps are a bit tight making it a challenge to wear for the whole day. I'm going to try stretching out the leather somehow to make it more comfortable because I think once its stretched they'll be amazing. They look great and are very well made.

This sandal was too narrow for my wide foot

These are very cute in person. The sole was very comfortable. However, I found that with my wider feet and slightly higher instep that this style of sandal did not fit my foot very well. I would say try sizing up if you have wider feet/a higher instep. Otherwise you should be fine to get your normal size.

I bought this sandal because reviewers saidit was narrow which works for me. It is not. Too bad because the foot bed was comfortable.

I wanted to like these but the raised area on the foot bed are really annoying. I have wide feet and bunions so the raised area sits right under my big toe and it constantly feels like there is something in the shoe. The raised area is supposed to sit between toes I imagine, if you have normal feet.
