I loved the jacket the moment I received it, however one of the straps broke off the first day I wore it. I had to send it back. Hopefully they can improve the craftsmanship on the rivets to prevent this issue in the future.

Good for casual wear with some wind too. Horrible with rain. Water basically sits on it and soaks through.

Beautiful but only good for non windy non rainy days as casual wear. Would definitely not recommend during rain or wind.

This is a nice jacket. It is extremely lightweight and stylish. One piece of advice I'd give before buying it is that if you are looking for decent wind protection I'm not sure if this is the way to go. I've tried it a few times and have come to the conclusion that it won't hold up as well as I hoped it would on more intense hikes. However, for casual wear and shorter, less windy hikes I would strongly suggest!

I enjoy it's light. The ability to fold it into a pack makes it a breeze to carry when not wearing it

I got this as a spring skiing piece to cross over into spring and summer hikes. It can turn into a functional fanny pack, which is neat I guess, but I don't know if I'll ever utilize that feature. The real perk to this design is you get an extra zip pocket inside the zippered and velcroed kangaroo pocket. That takes me to my first design criticism, I hate velcro, and on this jacket when you are trying to get into the kangaroo pocket the velcro is often fighting you the whole time (its very strong velcro). A minor annoyance to make for a bit more waterproof and secure pocket, so I won't knock it too hard for that. My real issue is that I have a similar, insulated anorak from TNFs major competitor, and on that jacket the "hoody" style pocket drops about 1 1/2" below the hand holes. This allows keys, wallet, and other small items to settle in and not slide out if you forget to zip the pockets up. TNF jacket is made of a very slippery and soft nylon shell material and the bottom of the pocket is even with the hand holes, causing me to lose my house keys and wallet out of that pocket in my car a couple times. Just have to remember to zip them closed, but is annoying when in a hurry. Some other details are that the jacket had quite a few loose threads in the kangaroo pocket and around a few other seams, and the jacket I purchased in the Vintage White did not have the blue accenting shown on the shoulders on the website, instead it is all white on the body with red arms. Still looks good. Bottom line, good lightweight waterproof pullover, although probably going to fall into my "accessory" pile rather than my "go to daily" pile.

there is really nothing about this jacket or the colors that make this jacket worth purchasing

The product is decent. Very thin, windbreaker type material, but the whole reason I bought it was because there were images that made the product look like it was reversible and had a super cool greens/mushroom pattern on the inside. Unfortunately that was definitely not the case and was an error on the website.

i've spent more time worrying about stains than enjoying this product. it's a shame that a rain jacket made by an outdoor company gets ruined by anything outdoors.

Sleeve ripped from putting the coat on and catching on my watch. I'd expect a bit more durability from an outdoor wear company. Do not see this coat having any purpose besides city walking. Would not last in woods from branches, etc which was my intended purpose.

The first time I put on this jacket it ripped across the Stitching. Beyond that this jacket is neither a good jacket or packs well. For the price there are significantly better items.

I owe this jacket and love it. Took it hiking though and lost the strap for the fanny pack, contacted north face and they do not replace straps and instead offered me to return jacket for a discount on another one, not even a replacement.

This product seems to be more "stylish" than functional. The fanny pack appears to be a marketing gimmick you wouldn't give to a child, the slash pocket is too small as is the pouch, the DWR finish is terrible - 10 minutes in a light mist and it was soaked. I expected a better from North Face. I have used and enjoyed many of your products previously.

I was very excited for this when I ordered it and very disappointed when I opened the box. The sleeves on this are more of a burnt orange than the red in the picture and there is zero navy on the shoulders. This one will sadly be heading back.
