I use it everyday except winter time

It folds into a pouch that has a removable sling. It is super compact and takes up very little space. It can be used as a pillow.

The color combinations are amazing

My hikes typically begin with a climb from sea level to 500' or more (up to 2500), then lots of traverses on local trails before descending home. I can get to the trailhead on cool days with it in jacket mode, then convert to fanny pack mode for the climb (body temp rises). As a fanny pack there is also enough room for a cigarettes box sized first aid kit and a cell phone. Once I am up the hills, I can keep it as a fanny pack (if trail is on leeward side of the hill and warm, or convert to a jacket if winds are blowing cold. I do wish the fanny pack belt was about 2X as wide, but it is adequate as is.

Does everything it says and more. Excellent quality, lightweight, & when your tired of wearing it one way you can switch it.

I bought this Fanorak for mountain biking when I get caught in the rain or in the evenings when the temperature cools down. When needed I put it on, put the hood over my head, and then put my helmet over the hood. It keeps me dry, breaks the wind, and has withstood several spills without tearing. It rolls up into a small light bundle which fits readily into a water bottle pocket in my back-pack. True to size.

No complaints on the jacket. It is a great light jacket, color is amazing. Good to have if you are unsure if you would be chilly while adding a color pop.

I am not one to leave comments but this is a great product. Very comfortable and versatile. I bought one for my daughter last year and i have wanted one ever since. I have never had a bad North Face product.

I walk daily, summer and winter, often times after dark. Used this as the top layer in weather down to -10F. I really like everything about it and would buy another if there was a high visibility color available. I currently have a black/yellow version, and the only thing that it lacks is some reflective materials. I am amazed at how well this performs in the rain. Although not waterproof, it's ability to shed water keeps me comfortable in most situations. This is the aspect that surprised me the most. I never expected it to be waterproof, but after the first time getting caught out in the rain, I was really happy with my purchase.

I was looking to replace my original rain shell from TNF and when I saw this I had to have it. I recommend a size up for anyone, which is how I ordered and I was right. I'm a small guy but the large was the most comfortable for me.

I haven't used this yet, but I bought it as SOON as I got home from a trip where it was raining... I lugged my raincoat around in the car, but didn't want to carry it around or wear it because I get hot... this is exactly what I needed..I wish I'd had it on this trip! But I'll never travel without it again!!! It folds up into the small pocket and will be so handy!!! I can't wait to wear it! It fits true to size and it so soft and comfortable! I can't wait to wear it!!!!
