I had tried this coat on almost a year ago and really liked it but couldn't justify the price since I had a really good and fully waterproof rain coat. I gave away my coat to a family member so I needed a new one and was excited to get a more stylish option. My only complaint is that it runs small. I can wear a medium or small coat - I often choose medium for extra layers underneath. I needed a LARGE in this coat, I could barely zip the medium over my chest (34C). For reference, I am 5'9" and 140lbs.

Good in cool damp weather.

Make sure you check the sizing, slim fit versus regular fit before you buy North Face products.

It's a bit snug, but it it stretches so.....

I bought this jacket in canal blue after i bought one in black color. size xl both. unfortunately the blue one was much smaller than the black one. i had to return/exchange.

I love the soft feel, light weight and comfortable.

I LOVE this jacket and the red color. Unfortunately they were out of my size and the small wasn't small enough for running purposes. Will be returning for another color.

Was planning to it for my hiking trip but it was a bit too snug. So had to return it. As I feel ja Hera need to fit a bit More comfortable to allow extra layer underneath.

It's perfect! but xs is too small need to return for a s. I'm 5'4 and 105 lbs for reference.

Lightweight and fits well. The logo is ironed on. Good fall jacket.

As with most North Face jackets, the medium is too tight but the large is too loose. Went for the large and will layer with sweaters. Overall super soft and comfy!

This jacket is really cute and certainly a go to for almost any type of weather. I can definitely see myself wearing this with any outfit especially when hiking or spending time outdoors. I'm considering returning it for a larger size because the sleeves are too short for my long arms

I was initially very surprised at how thin this jacket was - I expected it to be much thicker. Having said that it's most likely best used as a late spring and summer jacket. However it is extremely comfortable and really stretchy! Also v cute!

This jacket is very comfortable and breathable, bought it to work in the rain for the forest service. Didn't want a hard shell jacket that would restrict movement and get too hot. This does the job. Not sure yet if it's completely waterproof, seems like water will soak through if I'm outside for a long time.

Really looking forward to this jacket and disappointed when it did not fit as expected.

Bought this for my teen daughter who is 5'5/5'6 slim but with long arms who is reluctant to carry a coat to school and also needed something waterproof for wet days Taking out the dog. I was looking for something similar to north face jacket I have that's a hooded full zip that's waterproof . Was hopefully this would be similar. Nice jacket. The sleeve length made it unusable for my daughter.

I just returned from 2 weeks in Ireland. While it rained most days, we went out walking and hiking every day. This jacket might repel light rain for a little while, but in ongoing rain, the water just started seeping in-- soaking right through the jacket. It's a nice looking jacket and comfortable, but I would describe it as water-resistant rather than waterproof, for sure. It's not going to keep you dry in the wettest conditions.

Sufficient for light rain but does eventually saturate if you're stuck outside in heavier rain.

This coat is ok in light/medium rain. Not totally waterproof, allows condensation build up on inside.

It's an athletic design. I needed a rain jacket to wear everywhere.

I used this jacket for my outdoor activities. I run and cycle often in the rain. This jacket helps keep me dry from the rain n from my sweat.

I've had this jacket for less than a year. I wear it recreationally and have washed it twice according to the directions on the tag. After less than a year of normal wear, the jacket material deformed. It looks like stretch marks in the material. The jacket was not stretched and fits me comfortably. Disappointed that the material lasted less than a year. Other than that the jacket is comfortable and stylish.

The jacket runs small size up a size or two. Im 5'3 and weigh 210 lbs normally wear Large and i had to order a XL & XXL just incase the fit is not comfortable. Arm length does fit wide but the jacket feels smooth, comfortable in the inside. The length of the jacket runs small from the waist. I live in Chicago and the weather has been rainy & chilly i think this jacket would be great with a long sleeve to wear.
